Drumrboy Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 Hello all, Newbie here. I have a 2004 rx330 with 2000 miles on it. About a week ago my drivers seat started squeeking/creeking. Basically what i want to know is am I being anal? will the service dept. throw me out when i tell them? :) This is my second rx. I was leasing a 2002 and loved the car so much I payed off the lease early and BOUGHT the 2004.
SW03ES Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 Not at all, the seats on a brand new Lexus shouldn't creak. They'll fix it ;)
Simonscki Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 I have the same problem, everytime I stop or accelerate the damn thing klunks or creeks.....It drives me nuts
SKperformance Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 hmm a common problem 100% go to the dealer and tell them everything gets back to the lexus team for analysis to improve and restrict even small problems
sveet Posted July 3, 2004 Posted July 3, 2004 Both of my front dash vents make clicking noises all the time. Based on the design, I would think it is common, but nobody here seems to experience it. I, too, feel that maybe I am too picky. I don't think so, however. We did buy a fairly expensive SUV and it really shouldn't have rattles, clicks, or any other abnormal noises.
Drumrboy Posted July 5, 2004 Author Posted July 5, 2004 Thanks for the reponses. Im going to wait for my 5000 mile service and tell them about it. I will let you guys know how i make out.
