Transmission & Upper Shock Mounts

Could anyone tell me the estimated life for the Automatic transmission for the IS ? My 2001 IS has 60,000miles on it and the transmission is starting to act a little quirky.. Strange shifting patterns, hard upshifts.. Anyone else ?

Also, I have a torsion noise, dealer told me it was a upper strut mounts.. Anyone else have any noise's ??

Torsion noise could be sway bar bushings need lubed or loos mounting bolts on those.

Trans all depends on how the car is driven. Some people have had problems. Maybe it just needs a good flush and fluid change.
