blueviol
My 95 SC400's rear brake rotors are not being worn at the full width. Only inner half of the circular rotor is being worn by the pad, leaving the rotor look very ugly and I feel weakness in braking as well. Is this something to do with the caliper not working properly? I was advised to clean the pistons. I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
AWJ
Wheel could be over torqued. Pads could be broken or uneven. Caliper could need a rebuild. You might have a fluid leak or not enough to begin with. I'd recommend a good brake job. Or pull the piston and rebuild it. Your call. Your brakes. I would do something soon though if braking distance is being sacrificed. Lexussc400Sugarland
i think you should replace the rear rotors put some wagner thermal quiets first than rebuild the calipers i had the same problem side note its not made like a supra dont brake like one thats my problem too brakes tend to wear with ownership of a good radar detector:}
