  3. Where can i purchase custom taillights for my 1993 es300? I have searched everywhere and have found nothing. Im looking around for a red/clear set or something sleek. Also im trying to find dark housing headlamps... Thanks for the help! :D
  4. i agree, i don't care much for american cars... but unless your buying a lexus from a person like me, buy the lincoln. B)
  5. yes, i cleaned it all out though. its prrrrrrrfect now. i swear to god i am never going to sell my car after putting this much work into it. i changed the front and rear valve cover gaskets and put in new platinum +4 sparks. i also cleaned out my throttle body.
  6. i have a foul smell too, but its my rear gasket im in the process of replacing.
  7. Took me six hours to remove my fuel injector properly to get to the rear valve cover gasket and spart plugs to change them out. In this process i also cleaned out the air filter box and throttle body. Today I will spend the day putting it all back together, plugging back in sensors and bolting everything back on. I think I saved hundreds of dollars doing this myself.. Oh, I'll get some pictures later if I remember..
  8. there were none, it was at night and there were spills of paint on the road....
  9. LOVE my '93 es300, great price and value for the car too. make sure you know the history of the car if you can to see who owned it, how it was driven, and anything done on the car. fortunately mine was owned by an old guy who babied it and had EVERYTHING done with all paperwork. auhh lexus lovers.. oh yeah, its the es300 is a PERFECT size, not to big, not too small. OH, and welcome to the club man!!
  10. Took me about 45 mins of hands and knees scrubbing. Splatters from paint on the road came up right underneith the door on the sideskirt. What worked best was using adhesive & wax remover and a scratchless scrubber. Hope this can help anyone with the same problem as me. Those road workers need to be more carefull with their road paint!!
  11. I was wondering what type of transmission fluid the 1993 ES300 takes and what grade it is. Thanks.. :)

  17. it gets PERFECT reception, i like it better than in the rear. i had sirius on my other car and had the antenna mounted on the back but i think it works better in the front, i get a tad bit better reception for some odd reason.
  18. Here are pictures of my ES300 after i gave it a bath. :D
  19. good to know thanks, i figured because toyota/lex is known for life. Skperformance, have you rebuilt yet?
  20. cool thanks, but the previous owners even replaced the radiator! they were amazing for taking such good care of it man! only thing i wish it had was the leather and sunroof, other than that it is in crazy good shape, they must have garaged it too.
  21. My 93 es300 had all records from when it was purchased. It was serviced right on time and all papers to prove it. Regular oil changes as well. It runs perfect with 155,000 miles but when should i worry about a rebuild so i can start saving up?
  22. Are your wooden panels fading or have water spots in them? All you need is some bug and tar remover and rub rub rub away until it shines. It worked wonders for me. To give it an even nicer touch you can use a plastic car wax to give it an even more amazing glimmer. I am still researching some detailing and easy fix tips so you'll see me post often. :)
