Pioneer Free Air Sub is the way to go. I installed it by making a custom frame bracket that way it doesnt sit to Low.

I have a mrdm500 alpine amp about 500 watts pumpin into it, and an EPI Center which expands the bass.

The car sounds like it has 2 12s in it no exagerationthis setup i beleive is the way to go. i have pics but i cant post them i keep getting errors.

sounds like some moisture got in ur trunk and messed up the amps. try using a aftermarket amp. you dont have to go to crazy i recomend an MRPF-201 Alpine basic 4 channel you can get for 120 and that will solve ur speaker problm.

SELL it and deal with your loss. From my experience when a car is hitting you with so many problems it just doesnt stop. sell it and look for another one.

i got brembo rotors all around and Bendix Brakes. Those are awsome. they come with a replacment guarentte you wont need to buy brakes again. And they stop good.

I hate that annoying light its always on in my car. Actually iv grown to love it now.

i have 17x7 245/40 all around.

Not a smooth factory ride but when u hit it on the highway u feel the car stuck on the road no matter how fast ur pushing it.

If u do the swap u need to change bumper, absorber, fogs, grill, etc

check the amps maybe they have 2 fuses one for the front channel and one for the rears. try connecting another speaker to the rear channels. gotta test one by one to u figure out what the source of the problem is.

I tried them on and realized there wasnt a big difference and the ride is just as good. so i decided to keep them. here are a pic,.

i wanted 45 but they sent the wrong size, good enough these sumitomo tires are nice. Im gonna take some pics of them tomorrow when i put on the brembo brakes too.

yeah afew of my friends have it and it gives more spark to the engine, they all said they noticed a difference. But i was curious if anyones installed it on a 400?

i have about 100 punds extra in the trunk between amps, subs cd changer, and custom panels to keep everything up.

Defintly sounds like a problem witht he crossover in the door.

Just run a new wire ur self from the door to the headunit, problem solved.

Ignition Wires & Ground Cables.

I was curious what name brand wires to get for the ginition, also has anyone installed MSD Ignition on the sc400.

Also i just read up on ground cables, were u replace all ur old ground cables with different gauge etc, does this make a difference? has any one changed them? if so any problems?

well dont replace the head unit switch the channels from left to right too see if its the head unit or the wireing. i dont see how it could be the wiring. also check to tsee if its connected to the crossoveer maybe that is causeing some type of short.

I check that link out, but i have an open air filter on now and im getting a heat sheild to keep out engine heat. and then all the air the filter is pulling in is from the bottom which is mainly cold.

It seems to me the BFI does the same thing, nothing better or worse. Just that it may be cheaper.
