  1. Yea Lexus of Albuquerque tried to charge me $525.00 for the 15, 000 mile service which was supposedly included servicing the tranny. When told the service guy that it was sealed and shouldn't need service he was all umm umm. I just changed the air filter myself which took 20 minutes and had them do the oil change. I refuse to have them do any work other than warranty work because of their practices.
  2. Yea that's what I am going to do. I sent an email to them and they said the best they could do is $500 plus tax. Guess they don't want my future business. I am all for making a profit, etc. but this a fleecing! I wonder if a car audio place will take of the car though and not jack things up because it will be their "first" time installing it in a Lexus.
  3. Well the Lexus Dealer in Albuquerque wanted $751 and some change for the kit even after I gave my service manager the flyer. The service guy apologized and said the parts manager got *BLEEP*ed that I had found that on the internet. They wouldn't back down on their quote either. The service guy said they would honor the labor portion but not the parts. Oh well I am taking a trip to the Phoenix area maybe one of their dealerships will give me a better price.
  4. Does anyone have this installed and if so how do you like it? I was thinking about getting it, I do not have navigation.
  5. I want to say those are the sensors (probably magnetic) to let you know if your trunk is open or not.
  6. You have to go to the dealer and have them program it. There is a list of items that can be customized in your manual.
  7. Mine was 780 and the transaction took all of 1 1/2 hours. I didn't have to put anything down either.
  8. They are Nats. They do that to white cars out here (NM) as well. It should only last about a week. Could be worse, it could be a pigeon magnet lol :P
  9. Yea I will take pics tonight, just send me your email, or give me directions how to post them on here.
  10. I have an aftermarket, made a bracket so the display actually "mounts" in the ashtray holder. The antenna is mounted on the left corner of the dash, no exposed wiring and i love where it's at. It took all of thirty minutes and in my opinion looks good (and I'm picky).
  11. Just got the clear bra after two chips, the 3m cost me $400 for the hood, bumper, mirrors, and a 3" strip down the end of the doors. Best $400 I spent, road trip to Vegas and no new chips
  12. Just got mine tinted today, they didn't have to remove the door panel and still looks very professional. I did 20%, non-metallic all the way around. The only 'problem' I ran into is that the tint in on the back window really affected my signal with my Sirius (went from three bars to one and cutting out). I had the antenna mounted on the rear deck. I moved the antenna to the front dash, the far-most corner on the drivers side. Back to full signal strength and can't even notice it as I have the black interior. Thank goodness because I did not want it on my trunk lid.
  13. Do any of your tint installers have problems with the speaker mounted on the door panel? I am afraid that the tint installer might mess up the door panel.
