thanks for the info, i tried it out and turned out great, i was afraid at first, but then i used clay, paint cleaner, scratch X, swirl remover, glaze, wax, turned out great, but if i could now just get the remaining swrils outof there then its perfect. is that even possible.

is there such a thing as thick wax, i want a good think layer on there so i dont have to wax it that often, plus the car is black, so i wont get that much swril marks, a friend said that 3M was some thick stuff but are there anyothers, or is 3M even thicker than meguires.

im intereseted in both, and a pic would be nice

yep thats exactly what happened i got scared so i called meguires, and asked them and they said its okay but im not sure about that they said it was the dirt so what should i do...

so could clear coat be applied to existing paint, or does it have to be new paint, would buffing then clearcoating be a good option.

okay after looking at almost every other car made, there are after market projectors (headlights) or (Fog lights) for them, but i have not seen any for the lexus, either IS, GS, ES, LS, etc... does anyone know about projectors for the GS,

i have the same prob, mines a 99 gs300, and i think that the clear coat is gone, when theres a bird droping and i go to clean it up, the paint has already been damaged, so i think that the clear coat is gone, is there any way or removing those swril makes, i tryed by hand but did not work, and repainting is my last resort. as far as chips and stuff, i read all the posts an theres only 1 product that might work buti have so many that it will take my days, to fill it in, so if there are any ideas it would be appreciated.

okay, i just went to the site, and read up on the instructions, now this is supposed to soften the leather, then after softening you have to dye it, is that correct? is there any way of making the seats like blake918's new ones.

okay i tried that product too and did not work for me at all,, i wash the car every weekend so i can see alot of the details as they occur, and just recetly i decided to goahead and give it a good detail, this car is the only black car we have so this is the biggest pain in the butt, heres the steps that i used and still no luck , i think im gona get it repainted, or does anyone else have any ideas all these products are made by meguires step 1 clay bar step 2 # 2 paint cleaner step 3 scratch X step 4 swril and scratch remover step 5 glaze step 6 wax keep in mind all these steps are done by hand..... so i really need help , repainting is my last option

how often do you do that to your seats? i want to make them like they just came of the dealer, is that even possible, other than buying new seats. or is there some type of oil that if i keep on applying , that it will soak it up and become soft again.

okay my front seats are hard to the touch, becuase of the sun, the back seats are soft because i have tinted windows, so does any one know how i can make my front ones soft again, and clean them in the mean time. thanks.

MrSypher thanks for the site, most of those wheels look to PIMP for me or they look to racey for me because of the small spokes, i was thinking of something on the lines of the is or gs430 rims, i like the 5 spoke or 11 spoke chrome look, so any help would be appreciated.

hey BRAKARK, do you know the name or stlyle of those rims, they look very nice, is the UK the only place to get them or are there knockoffs here too, im assuming its an arm and a leg to get rims imported from the UK, let me know

okay only on my passenger side im getting condensation in the main head light and in the highbean headlight, does any one else have this problem and what is the solution other than buying a whole new housing,

ahhh , thats it, its just a cover, i wanted a new stlye mirror with it on there, ohh well okay i just went to his site, and cant understand anything, now is there anyone that can translate this info to english, all i can understand is interior, exterior, etc.. options, but no details. ie how much, where to get it from, etc.. thanks
