  1. Strange. I have a 2006 400h without navigation, and it does not show the range left (though I really wish it did).
  2. Had this problem and was going to try to pry the CD out with tweezers, but turns out I didn't have to. I had tried turning the car off hoping it would reset, and even removing then reconnecting a battery terminal as suggested on another thread, but neither worked. So I used a credit card to pry and hold the door open, but when I looked in I couldn't see anything to grab onto with tweezers. So I thought hitting eject at that point might at least move the CD into sight, but when I did that with the door held open, the display went a little nuts, ERROR 4 changed to EJECT ALL (which I've never seen before) and it spit my CD out! Don't know if this will work for anyone else, but it couldn't hurt to try.
  3. Both times that I have left my 2006 RX400h unstarted for more than 5 days the battery has died and needed replacement. I am absolutely certain that no electrical equipment, light, etc. was left on. A day in the Lexus service center checking everything out revealed no abnormalities. The only suggestion they had was to put the headlights in the off rather than automatic position. I can't see why this would have anything to do with anything, though. I think they just wanted to be able to suggest something.
  4. Same thing happens to me. It's really annoying, and tends to tick off people driving behind me as well, which is not good.
  5. How's the handling with those Toyo tires? I have the original Michelins, and their performance in wet weather, which is a major concern in Florida, is terrible. I recall having Toyos on a different car a number of years ago that handled very well on wet ground.
  6. Has something like this happened to anyone? I was out of town for a few days, and when I returned home, my 2006 RX400h would not start. I had to get to work, so I took my wife's car. She called Lexus, and they came out immediately (arrived in less than 30 minutes, and the dealership is about 15-20 minutes away). She tells me that the person who came out said the vehicle had a bad battery cell, and replaced it (at no charge - apparently a warranty repair). He also said that it had nothing to do with not driving it for a few days. The service was certainly fantastic, but I wonder whether this is something that is liable to happen again.
  7. New owner here - purchased a used 400h back in September. I have been very satisfied except for the wind noise issue. In my case, at any speed much above 35-40 MPH, there is significant noise from both the driver's side window and from above. As best I can tell, all the seals are fine (windows, doors, sunroof) - I think the sources are the side view mirror and the roof rack as the wind passes over them (they don't rattle - it's clearly wind noise). Has anyone else had this issue, and if so, can anything be done? Thanks.
