i have a 99 gs300 that idles at about 1500 rpm for a couple of minutes when you start it wether it is hott or cold. i took it to the dealer and they said they cant find anything wrong with it. does this happen to anyone else??? thanx

what does the car do when the oxygen sensor goes bad? -
I idle high... but not for 5 minutes... maybe a minute in warm weather... hey spawn do u feel like spending 120 bucks to get that checked out and then tell me what the problem is haha, just kiddin man but yea i dont know why it does that i guess im not the only one tho.. alot of people keep telling me that its normal but i dont think so

i have a 99 gs 300 that idles really high about 1500 rpm for the first 5 minutes of starting the car wether its hot or cold outside the same issue. does this happen to anyone else or is this a normal thing????? thanxxx

i have a 99 gs and i am trying to take off the front wheel bearing assembly and i got down to the hub after taking the rotor off but now i have no idea what to do and i am stuck. i tried to buy a repair manual but they dont sell those any help would greatly be appreciated thanx

i dont really know if thats the case because i have just did tune ups on both of them also the timing belt and the trans flush and they still rev high every time the car rests for a few hours, but only for a couple of minutes, do you think it could be something else maybe something having to do with the throttle body? thanx much kenny -
both these cars are 300's and both 99. when first off in the morning i start either or of them they rev at about 1500-1700 rpm for a few minutes, till the engine warms. i used to have a 98 gs that didnt do this? any suggestions is this also happening to someone else? help thanx kenny.
