I have 6 CD changer ERR and tried to clean up the cd changer. I insert the cleaning CD in, heard clicks but CD not ran. How to clean it up? any suggestions? detailed process plz. thx

Try the Auto button on the side and use the up down right left arrow buttons to adjust for best. good luck!

Do you have the AZ part numbers? -B- Th Auto Zone struts MIGHTY-LIFT LIFT Part No.: C95029 Just ask them for the part. they will say it doens't work on Lexus if you tell them so.... Just take it and gone and install and laugh for saving money.....

I just changed two hood struts with Auto Zone parts, cost $19.99 each. works great. For your info, I need not driil the old strut ends to get out the ball hardware. Instead, i used a tiny screw driver (used for my glasses screws ) and dig pin at the end, then used a plyer to pull it out. Just need patience... INFO ONLY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE THE SAME HOOD STRUTS PROBLEM! I have radio reception problem for AM. I installed a antenna mast bought $18 and it work fine th eearly days. these days, it just noisy, no reception at all. I took the antenna out and foudn nothing then installed back. the motor made noise adn no reception either. Today, i took it out again, trying to solve the problem. I found the palstic teeth stripe was bent and wheni turn the radio on, the antenna extended and kah-kah noise at the end. I have taken out the antenna four times. almost tired of took it out again. but problem still exists. Noisy antenna extention, and ban or no raido reception... any suggetstions?

The speaker cover is snapped into the package tray. Just use a flat screw driver and pop it off. Then you will be able to unbolt it. thx buddy, done!! :D

I am new here for just a couple of weeks and I am also new with Luxus. This is a great forum for newbies like me. Since I don;t have a manual, nor even knowing much about cars, some glossaries appear in the forum are still strange to me and even don;t know what it is and where it is. If we all build up a glossary here, I believe it will be a great help to newbies... what you guys think? Just a suggetstion!!! I even don;t know what a AMF, ECU or whatsoever is adn where they located...

Anybody knows how to remove this rear speaker? just found from the trunk the wire was cut too close to the speaker that i can't connect them together... have to re-do it.. thx

thx buddy. i dismantled the back lights. i will say, it is not taht hard DIY。I rmoved four of them (matter of fact, it's six cuz the trunk lid 3-pack uses one bulb as i know now). i need to removed the fog light also. I removed the three bolts on it but it won;t come out. i will read the clue and do it tomorrow cuz it's dark now. FEEL REALLY GOOD WHEN YOU MAKE IT!!!　I Do Encourage everybody DIY for these small stuff. NOT onLY MONEY SAVING, BUT ALSO FEELING OF ACHIEVEMENT...HAHA....

First time I found last night when in dark that I have 8 lights dead, front and rear. i need hlp for DIY, any inoput will be highly appreciated. I don'r know what these lights for but they are dead and i need to change them. rear lights need to change: left side inside all three(3), left plate light(1)--- right side outside top (1)---all these lights are on the trunk lid. Front lights need to change: upper Left side inside the yellow light (1), right side the outside one (1); lower right side outside(1). maybe the description is not clear but that's all i can do. my problem is: How To Get Into These Bulbs both Front and Rear? Is it Hard? Can I find the Bulbs in AutoZone for campatibility or I have to use Lexus Bulbs? maybe a big job for me if it is too hard to reach these bulbs. to my common sense, i should be able to DIY, right? nit that Hi-tech to remove and replace any input will be highly appeciated. btw, it 92 Ls 400 with 165k, cost $2450 buying in early August. I am trying to find out everything and fix everything adn this forum REALLY HELPS....A LOOOOOOOOOOT. You guys enjoy your day, you have all my best wishes!

maybe i made a mistake. yesterday, i went to a auto shop, I told him red coolant. the guy told me green is ok with pre-99 cars. so I drained the rediator, color seemed a little pink. i drained all and put some water, ran the engine, and pour the green. hope not damage the radiator cuz i changed the coolant. Temp indicated at middle of the gauge as before. what you guys got on the indicator, 1/4 down, 1/2 down? mine is 1/2, needle exactly horizontal...

Thx buddy. I added some water in the reservior when i checked for the level. it all water in the plasyic tank. wht kind of coolant to fill? thx in advance. Water isn't gonna cut it. Normally you would use red coolant in there. Now if someone is kind enough to give us the proper name.... thx you all guys, i will check with the red coolant. maybe need flush the tank? where the drain port or valve?

I just bought it in early August, it's 1992 LS 400, about 165k, no malfunction light at all... just changed oil in the morning. check engine light on before with code 41 and 71, but off after I reset the battery, no other indicator lights on at all... this morning, i checked the car adn droce around, seems everything turns to normal, car ran ok and no choke at all. all malfunction lights off... what the hell is it. i thought it was tired or exhausted to death for 100 miles fwy run? ot is it the oil problem? just changed oil in the morning at a repair shop and donno what kind of oil they used. oil compatibility?

i always have this sign on, under rpm meter, looking like a house? whta is it? i donlt have a manual to check it out.

I ran about 100 miles @ 80m/h, when off freeway, i braked at a stop sign, the car dead suddenly. I parking position, i restart it. when i got home adn braked for parking, engine chokes breathlessly. I just changed oil this morning. Check Engine light came on again when i hit freeway this afternoon till now. Anybody got any idea?

I just fixed the antenna myslef, buying a mast from a guy $18, ebay may be only $10, try that for DIY. I have the same prob with seat belt---loose, toooooooo much loose, donno how to fix it yet... climate stuff is a common prob, i am trying to buy a crystal from ebay for $100 to replace the old, don't get it yet. good luck

Yoysrme, thanks. I am able to purchase the mast which comes with the nylon gear from Park Place Lexus for $46.67. Where on line can I look for the Camry assembly and do you think it would be less? Also, I need to make certain it would come with the gear as this seems to be the origional problem. I just bought a mast for $18 and install myself. Got the info from this forum about where to buy and how to install.
