  1. Thanks but I want one for cheaper...I need to save some money, this GS is costing me a fortune.
  2. YES...make sure your doors dont lock when your in drive and they unlock when the car is in park. Make sure your car makes a noise when you lock/unlock it. Thats what i remember off the top of my head. good luck youll like the GS
  3. yes, otherwise known as total out of pocket t.o.p.
  4. Great use of similes hahah...Good that everything turned out okay. I would try it, but I don't even want to watch the videos on my GS.
  5. You know what else works?? Just hit right above the cluster with your palm and that should fix some disconnections. It works on the older SC's so I figure it might help you too.
  6. Looks like there could be some internal electrical problems...You should bring it to the local dealer and see what they can do.
  7. Guys, Where is the best place to shop for an older SC?? I just love those old bodies. Also, which year is the best to buy (by best I mean, less problems). If you could please help that would be great!! Thank you
  8. Jibby, you modded your SC to the max, but I like it!!!
  9. Scott, did you get it yet? Any updates?
  10. The reason is that some people do hit similar speeds ;)
  11. Those are some tough questions right there and honestly I'd like to know the answers to some of them. I do believe I know the answer to one of them; in order to get the nav to work in different countries all you need is the disc of that country so it shouldn't be upwards of $200. Good luck with the rest though.
  12. Contact your service manager - I believe there is a TSB to replace the b-pillar column facing, if this is the area you're talking about. Something about us fat-butt American's rubbing up against it too many times when we get in and out of the car (my assesment, not the service managers'...) hahahahhaha. it should be normal wear and tear but if it bothers you, as it would me, just bring it over to Lexus
  13. never heard of this problem...its probabaly just a defect with your car. Lexus should take care of it for you.
  14. Go for Obsidian...black over blue anyday if you can keep up with it.
  15. They sell pretty close to sticker like I said in the other post, especially the long wheel base ones.
  16. Stevenson Lexus has two stores in the Denver area, Lakewood (west) and Frederick (north). They were sponsoring the International Golf Tournament in Castle Pines and had ordered 220 ES, RX and GX "courtesy cars" for the touring pros. These low mileage cars are then sold for "an impressive discount" when the tournament is over. The tournament was cancelled this year but not before the cars were ordered and the order could not be cancelled. So Stevenson is interested in moving cars, any cars. I think this helped get us a good deal. Good timing on our part. [silver] Bullitt They do sell for pretty much sticker price...there is still a high demand for these cars.
  17. If you want luxury and a little sportness than the GS is the one to go with. I drove all three cars and basically I would be down to the M35 and GS350 but Lexus is just better in quality overall than the Infiniti. Also if you get it from me I'll save you some money ;)
  18. I am using the new TREO 750 in my new GS and it is working fine. I am ging to perform the update from TREO and see where we align. Mark Mark, Thank you lemme kno how it goes.
  19. Of course the ride will be a little more rough with the G-spyder wheels, but they do add that extra kick to the vehicle. You will not be able to keep the factory wheels with the car just pay for the upgrade. The thing is, the G-Spyder wheels are acutally 2 K $ wheels but you are only paying about half that because you are basically paying the difference. Hope this helps.
  20. There is another forum on this if you look up cost of GS350
  21. I'd just get an external nav and transfer it between cars if you have 2 or more. Much cheaper, of course doesn't have the look, but keeps money in your pocket
