When I put on the brakes (hard or not hard) when I get close to coming to a stop the brakes or maybe tires(not sure which one it is) grinds really bad. Also, underneath the front of my car on the left side something rattles and shakes like it is flopping up and down....these both occur all the time. I'm going to take it in but I wanted to know what I'm dealing with first. Thanks. :D

I did find the contipremiums because if you click show all continental tires when you are viewing the continentals it will show you those.........and the contipremiers got better ratings than the contipremiums.....I'm think I'm sticking w/ contipremiers

I clicked on the link you gave me but it didn't show the contipremiums.......I can't even find them on the continental website.....???

I looked on tirerack.com and I still can't find the contipremiums in the es' size so if you know where it is would you give me a link or something...thanks :D

contipremiers come w/ an 85000 mile warranty and 30 day trial as well.......I will definately check into those toyos before I make my final decision and on tirerack.com it only shows the contipremiums coming in a 19 size...............and SWO3ES how come you are interested in the contipremiums also at the autoshow the most expensive luxurious car in the world (the Maybach) had contipremiums on them so that makes me think that it is a great tire and so are the other continentals........

Well..........do the toyo proxes tpt give a real smooth ride and are'nt loud??? See I can see those kinda ratings for the contipremiercontacts so that's why I'm thinking about those but if I could find some ratings about those or you could tell me then I might rethink it. My tire sizes is P215/60R16 I'm probably most interested in Continental, Michelin, or Goodyear....possibly even Toyo(some es's do come standard w/ toyos don't they) I AM NOT AND WILL NEVER BE INTERESTED IN BRIDGESTONE AGAIN...........

checked out the toyo proxes tpt but I think I'm still leaning towards the contipremiercontacts....thanks for the input anyways............and I haven't finally decided yet so I'm still open for other suggestions

Is it ok that the contipremiercontacts only come in an h speed size when the es is rated for v speed tires????

I'm thinking about replacing my OEM Bridgestone Turanza ER33s for Continental ContiPremierContact tires because they seem to be really good and not too expensive(based on ratings from tirerack.com)......................

Just wondering.........what do yo use to clean wood grain w/? Can you just use water or something special???

I chose the contipremiercontacts over the contiextremecontacts because the ratings on tirerack.com are so good..........nothing is below the excellent category and the price is pretty good too...........................!!!! :D

I'm now leaning more towards the Continental ContiPremierContact tires.....they've gotten really good ratings on tirerack.com......I'm kinda picking these over the Bridestone Turanza LS-V.........also I was also thinking about the Michelin Harmony(does anybody think these would be good???).........what do you think about the ContiPremierContacts???? ;)

OK...............I'm kinda interested in maybe buying some new tires.....so I would like some help on finding the ones that will give my 02 ES the SMOOTHEST ride possible and NO RATTLES, CREAKS, SQUEAKS...........ETC..............*and not too expensive*!!! SWO3ES, a while back you said something about Continental ContiExtremeContact or something like that so I'm wondering if you would still recommend this tire and what other ones also? this afternoon......I was at a stoplight and when it turned green and I stepped on the gas(note: I did not floor it or accelerate harder than I have from a stoplight before)the front end of the car on the driver's side shook terribly for about a second. It felt like it might have been the tire and the area around it......NOTE: it was only on this side not the rest of the car.....I was shaking too as it was shaking, so it was a pretty good shake......also the road was wet but I don' t really think that was the cause..................................................................................

well....yall have potenzas and I have turanzas so I guess that's the difference

amf1932, you say that your es was delivered w/ Bridgestone tires...but are they Turanza ER33s?? And if so, what psi do you run them at.....I'm surprised that you say they have a smooth ride and etc.....when my es rides terrible and rattles, creaks and all other kinds of mess(which I think is all caused by the tires)

I'm not surprised that they come on the Camry....I know that they are platform mates and all but.....I don't know I guess I'll just have to get some new tires in the future <_<

As some of you might have read another one of my posts....it seems that the original tires that shipped w/my 02' ES300 we're swapped for a different set of tires. I didn't know this was happening and am extremely mad because the Turanza's are pathetic in everyway. Anyways...I was doing some research and I found that the Bridgestone Turanza ER33 tires that I have on my car come stock on the 2002 TOYOTA CAMRY I can't believe this. These tires are so bad....................I really want to contact the dealer about it and LEXUS too. Anybody got any opinons? They would be really appreciated.... :D
