  1. I would also like to see some photos. I have a 2010 RX350 and like changing my own oil and not fimilar with these new oil filter systems. Thanks
  2. Njandy I got 3,000 off MSRP. Bought in Atlanta.
  3. I'm with lexus 10 on the lighting, that's about the only thing I could come up with to improve on, well except for may the blue tooth. I have to talk somewhat load for the person on the other end of the phone to hear me. Been in other makes and don't seem to have that problem. Not aware of any setting I can change to improve that. I use the blue tooth for safety and convience so I wish that part worked better. Other than that I love the 2010 RX350!! PS I looked at the oil filter replacements and they are just the guts, has anyone changed one of these??? Looking for good instructions because I like to change my own. Thanks Bob
  4. I still can't help but feel like this is a slightly upgraded Camry Hybrid. I own an 09 and it looks very similar in size and somewhat the shape. I want to see it and thought I may be a possible buyer but now I may be more interrested in the RX hybrid even thou I didn't want to spend that much. Bob
  5. Philip I was checking MPGs at each fill-up. I used some reg for a period of time and did not hear any pings or feel anything strange from the engine. I don't drive aggressively. With similar driving conditions, it appears I was losing from 1-2 MPGs. When I did the math (comparing the different MPGs and fuel cost) I found I was only saving around $2 per fill-up. Needless to say I am back to using the premium fuel. Bob
  6. 93LSOwner Thanks for the info. Was not aware this had been hit before. I paid cash for my 04 and would not have been able to do so if I had not gone through life questioning/comparing cost. If it was just a small performance thing I would not pay the difference. If it reduces my MPG's or could cause problems for the engine then absolutely pay the difference. I wish we had a Lexus engineer or mechanic to ring in. Thanks again
  7. With the current price of fuel, :cries: has anyone tried using the plus instead of the premium?? I know the book says you can use regular if premium is not available but I wounder if it could cause any permanent problems with the motor. I have an 04 GS300. I also am curious if you have tried it was there a drop in MPG? Thanks Bob
