  1. http://www3.lexusbluetooth.letstalk.com/ See if that function is supported on your phone by looking at the Quick Guide Pairing Instructions.
  2. Congrats on your choice to go with the IS. Hopefully your dealer can find what you want soon. If its going to be special-ordered from the factory, you'll end up with an '08 model and earliest it will get here is October from what I heard.
  3. Which package/option combo have you decided to go for? Just to let you know, I conducted a poll for a factory special order earlier ('07 model) and I came up with 3-4 months waiting period. If you do a special order now, you will have to wait for an '08 model and you're looking at 4 months minimum. I ordered mine April 14th, so I still have 2 more months to go. Heres' what I ordered: 07 IS350 Obisidian/Black X-package NAV/ML Audio HID headlamps with AFS Rear spoiler Dual Sport HKS exhaust with Rear GFX kit All weather mats Preferred accessory package
  4. Yes, I agree with you. The "Build your own" feature is somewhat confusing. Some options are region specific and depends on the zip code you enter. Anyway, here's a website provided by my credit union, it even gives you Dealer costs. http://nfcu.com/autocenter/webcarbook.html
  5. If it just so happens that your dealer cannot find the car you're looking for (combination of options you want), and it has to be special ordered from the factory, the average wait time is 3-4 months.
  6. Trade it in for '08 IS-F if the IS350 is not fast enough for you.. LOL
  7. I agree, and IMHO the bumper looks a lot better and cleaner without those sensors.
  8. I wish the front had it... I remember reading the NAV Parking Assist section of the online manual from this website, and it was talking about Front corner sensors. Maybe you have it already and not know about it.
  9. I initiated a poll for average wait time on factory special-ordered IS. Average is 3-4 months.
  10. The 5-spoke rims are part of the X-package and I believe only exclusively available with the package.
  11. Looks hot! Congrats. Looks like you have the X-package with OEM HKS dual sport exhaust. I ordered the same thing only in Obsidian/Black, plus I added the rear GFX kit. Can't wait for mine.. 2 or more months to go.
  12. OEM illuminated door sill scuff plates are available from Sewell Lexus for $210.50. Club Lexus members get additional 10% off using promo code CL911M. http://www.lexus-parts.com/partlist.asp?Su...amp;ModelID=150 scroll down at the very end.
  13. We should be glad, we may be over 40 but (what do they call it) Hip!
  14. You and me both. This "will" be my first ever decent car. I said "will" because it's still on order. I ordered it April 14th, still have about 2-3 months to go. I've been driving a company car (Ford Sable) for the past 15 years, and before that a Tercel, Corolla, and a Previa as a family car. So I think I deserve it!
  15. Smoke-Out Light Wrap Kits from Rvinyl: http://www.rvinyl.com/cart/store.php?crn=6...ion=show_detail Smoke Tail light overlay from Aero Tect: http://www.aerotect.net/shopping/shopdispl...;cat=Automotive
  16. It's your call, but IMHO the IS is not a car you want to do that on. "Tacky" comes to mind. Hey, I'm over 40.. so take that into account. :D
  17. Thanks. You guys will be the first to know as soon as I get it. I'll post lots of pix. I'm thinking about getting a clear bra, tint, and add the OEM side rocker panels GFX kit. My order is coming with the front and rear GFX, but not the sides. The front GFX is from the X-package, then I added the HKS exhaust with Rear GFX. It looks like the average wait time is 3-4 months.
  18. I just want to know the average wait time for a factory special-ordered IS. I ordered mine (through my sister-in-law who works for Toyota) on April 14th. It's been a little over a month now, and I've been told it takes an average of about 3 to 4 months. Please vote on the poll if you actually special ordered your IS from the factory, and not acquired some other way- ie. shipped from another dealership, car was already allocated etc. Here's what I ordered: 07 IS350 Obsidian/Black, X-package, HID headlamps w/AFS, NAV/ML, Dual Sport Exhaust (HKS) w/ Rear GFX, Rear lip spoiler, Preferred Acc package I'm sure you can understand my anxiety level. I go to dealerships in the neighborhood every chance I get just to admire the IS and dream about it!
  19. 10-way driver's and front passenger's(including lumbar) power seats is standard in all models.
  20. XM Radio is listed as an accessory. Here's a link: http://www.lexus.com/models/IS/accessories...io_details.html, so your dealer should be able to add it for you. List price=$486. The XM radio kit is available through Sewell Lexus for $299, so if you know someone who can help you install it, then it would be less expensive. http://www.lexus-parts.com/partdetail.asp?...ubCategoryID=99 The moonroof comes standard. In regards to X-package, NAV, ML Audio, or NAV/ML Audio combo - these are all factory installed and simply cannot be added by the dealer. So if you want these, you just have to find a car with both. otherwise you have to order the vehicle and it will take 3-4 months.
  21. X-package/Sports package sport suspension has stiffer front/rear shocks, and suspension springs has same rebound rate, but sits lower. -10mm lower front only -5% stiffer shocks All other parts the same. It will not lower your car that much if that's what you're looking for, but I heard the handling will be noticeably firmer.
  22. You don't get the "Intuitive Parking Assist" with any of the packages being offered. You have to order it as an additional option. Lexus link for IS350 options and packages: http://www.lexus.com/models/IS/features/pricing.html You can only get the Sport-tuned suspension with either the Sport package or the X-package, and it's not orderable as an individual option. Here's a website that has a "Build your own" feature showing you what you can/cannot order with each package/option combinations. It also shows you dealer invoice price which can help you figure out if you're getting a good deal. This is provided by Navy Federal Credit Union. http://www.nfcu.org/autocenter/webcarbook.html I ordered mine from the factory only 2 weeks ago. It's going to be a long wait for me! It's probably going to take at least 4 months, 3 months if I'm lucky. Here's what I ordered: IS350 Obsidian/Black X-Package NAV with ML Audio HID Headlamps with AFS Dual Sport Exhaust with Rear Ground effect Rear lip spoiler Hope this helps.
  23. Yes, that's with the discount..actually price is at dealer cost. A Toyota/Lexus employee can order up to 2 cars per year for an eligible family member.. as in spouse, parents, parents-in-law, stepparents, grandparents, grandparents-in-law, step-grandparents, children, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, stepchildren, siblings, siblings-in-law, stepsiblings, or same-gender domestic partner. I guess I should be glad for the great deal and I shouldn't complain too much about the wait for that price, huh? Rx330driver, unfortunately I don't know anyone who owns an IS. How about this - next time I see an IS350 driver, I'll offer him some cash so I can test drive it! You know my passion is golf, but lately I suddenly lost interest, and all I can think of is this IS350! :(
  24. Looks really nice! Was this ordered from the factory? If so, how long did it take? My sister-in-law works for Toyota Motors and she just ordered mine yesterday. She's quoting me 3 months before I get it. I can't wait!!!!! This is what I ordered: IS350 Black Obsedian/Black 'X' Package Navigation System/Mark Levinson Premium Audio HID headlamps Headlamp Washers Dual Sport HKS Exhaust with Rear Ground effect Rear Lip Spoiler $37.17K, OTD=$41K I've been driving a company car (Ford Taurus) for 15 years, and this will be my first ever decent car. Aside from looking at the brochure every minute, reading e-mails in this forum and looking at pix, visiting dealerships in the area every weekend-- do you have any other suggestions to keep me occupied? Seriously..my anxiety level is at its all time high! :cries:
