  1. Steve,

I can not wait to see pictures of your ferrets. I love them they are so cool! :)

    outlawd94cobra,

Your dogs are so cute. I like the picture of Capone. Very nice looking dogs! ;)

    I really like Mischko.

    blake918,

My vet said that doberman's are great dogs. I only met one doberman that i couldn't trust. The guy who owned it said that she was one of the doberman's with the small head. When i take my pup anywhere people just love him. So many people say oh a doberman they are such good dogs. Now there are some people who are already afraid of him. I guess that is the ones who believe everything they hear on tv. I tell everybody it is all in how you raise the dog! My pup is only 5 months old and i just can't understand the people who won't go near him. He is already trained to stay off of people so he won't jump on you. They are so smart. This is the first one i raised, but i have been around them a lot. My mom had 2. I did learn that they are so rotten as pups.

    I do love him though.

I will post some pictures as soon as i get a new camera.

edit: My mom has one of the brothers of my dog so now this would be her third doberman.

  2. Great pics Stevie and Dobie!

I agree them are great pictures.

    steviej,

Your cat is so cool! I had one that looked like that when i was 13. He was so cool. My mom hated him cause he would attack her feet. :P

    DobieG,

I really like Cinco. He looks like he is definitely the ruler. :D

  3. Thanks for the kind words and prayers everyone. You all are wonderful! :D I am doing much better now. Thanks again to everyone!

Jill, congrats on the dobe! You need to take a pic of him for us! I don't think I need to tell you that they are wonderful dogs! When we got Annie(our dobe), Rosey was 8. Rosey didn't like her at all at first. But, she soon warmed up to Annie, and they became best buddies for the next 6 years. Annie was terribly jealous of Rosey, but underneath the competition, they were good friends. So much so infact, we are taking Annie to the vet on monday because she has been depressed ever since Rosey died. She just mopes around the house lethargically, and she doesn't even play with her toys or eat much which is odd for our nonslim 90+lbs. dobe. I don't know what the vet will do, but I think she needs time. Good luck with raising Slim and getting Buddy to accept him! I'm sure it'll work out fine. :D I know what you are saying about the little dog being boss; Rosey was the same way(save the past year or two when her health was declining)-some how Annie knew that Rosey was the boss eventhough she weighed 4x more than her. When Annie was a puppy, we bought her cheap baby blankets that she nurses on(see pic on first page), and as it turned out, she didn't chew up a single thing in the house. :D

I will get a picture as soon as i get a new camera. Someone spilt pepsi in mine at a party. Buddy just turned 8 in june. We got slim a blanket as well and so far the only thing that he chewed was my husbands sandals. :D That was before we gave him the blanket.

I hope that Annie gets better. The vet might be able to give her something until time passes for her to fill better.

  4. Very cool video.

the test was missing one thing to would have made it more realistic.

If you have ever been close to a natural lighting strike, or had the pleasure of sitting in a car or a house that has been hit, you will agree it is usually accompanied by a very very VERY loud crack of THUNDER!!!

    that is the scarry stuff.

    steviej

Your right steviej that is some scary stuff. Not to long ago was taking my mother-in-law to the doctors and it was storming so bad that i had to pull over. When i did i realized that i better move because i was in a bad spot and i didn't want to get hit by another car so i pulled over else where. I thought i was safe then bam lighting hit my car. It scared us so bad. :o There was this really loud bang and this really bright light. It left these burnt marks on the hood of my car.

  5. We just got a new Doberman puppy. We named him Slim. He is so rotten. So far my little dog rules him. I just hope that it stays that way. He likes to go by Buddy (my little dog), but Buddy don't like it. I was really worried about getting him because of Buddy, but so far everything seems fine.

    Wish me luck! :D

  6. blake,

I am so sorry to hear about Rosey. My thoughts are with you and Rosey as well. I know how hard it is to lose a pet and i really am sorry.

    RIP Rosey

    :cries:

  7. I've only had the caged type of animals fish ,birds.

I like dogs( not much of a cat person) but the responsibilities are too much for me and i would never want to have the animal outside.

I'm glad you said this, and it's extremely respectable that you don't get a dog for that reason! :D It's awful to see neglected dogs; they remind me of little people-they all have personalities just as we do! lol Don't get one if you can't take care of it(even if little Johnny bugs you about it) physically and emotionally-I know that sounds a little flakey, but our 2 dogs demand a lot of attention, and if they don't get it, they get very sad. I cut a few yards for extra spending money, and I see a few neglected dogs. One family has a black Lab that is neglected; they put his food and water on the back yard, so that he doesn't mess up the house, but when you buy the puppy, what do you think he's gonna do?? The 2 min I pet him while I'm in their backyard is more attention then they pay him in a week. The only reason they have him is because their darn son bugged them about it until they caved. They bought the dog, and now the kid decides that he doesn't want the dog any more, so out he goes.

Annie demands a king sized bed and several blankets to sleep in, and Rosey used to sleep in bed with us, but she hasn't in a while-she has her blankets on the floor that she likes very much. She's just getting very old-I supose this is why(she also uses the restroom all over the house-no more control)? :( She has been taking her age well, but about a year or two, it caught up with her and hit her like Mr.Sypher's new KW's.

Thanks for the kind words, Jill! They look so ferocious when they pull their noses up and show their teeth. Annie has never bitten anyone out of rage, ever(...we've had her 6 years). She has given me a little nibble a few times, but we were playing-me harassing her is more like it, so I deserved(and expect) it!

Thanks for all of the responses and pics everyone! :D

Your welcome blake. My mom had her dobie (dude) for i believe 14 years and he never bitten anyone either. He was a great dog. I got a nibble as well while playing. He liked to pinch you (never in anger and never with force) while playing. I always said that is why they call them Doberman pinscher like "pinch". :D lol

  8. Your right steviej gas still went up.

I am so glad that i know how to pump my own gas cause i still see them poor slugs out there using full service. :o

I know that it's not that much more, but every cent counts right now and i know i would not want to pay that extra just to let someone else pump my gas. My husband used to tell me all the time let them pump your gas for you. He don't say that no more.

  9. I've only had the caged type of animals fish ,birds.

I like dogs( not much of a cat person) but the responsibilities are too much for me and i would never want to have the animal outside.

When i worked for Bell telephone i saw all orts of people and there pets from the cleanest to the nastyest in the world.

Plus i don;t think the pet would get to the vet and i wouldn;t have one in my cars, too paranoid.

I got a question how many of you actually kiss there dogs/cats and let them lick your face.

I am a germ freak in a way from also working in a hospital as a first job for operating room reasons so i could think of doing that.

I always turn away when on the osbournes they always get a good tounge washing from there pets.

I kiss my dog and i let him get a little lick in, but there is no way i would go as far as the Osbournes. :P Never ever in the mouth like they do. That would be a little nuts.

I know how you fill about having an animal outside. I would never want a dog just to keep outside.

  10. blake,

I love your dog Annie as well. My mom had a Dobie just like her only it was a male. His name was dude. He got sick a few years ago and they had to have him put to sleep. I still miss him. He used to play a game with my son. My son would make a growling noise at him and then he would show his teeth. He wouldn't make a bit of noise cause if he did my mom would yell at him. He never tried to bite him it was just a game to get him to show his teeth. He was one of the most loving dogs. He used to count for treats. It was so cool.

I own a toy poodle mix. He is crazy, but we love him none the less. He will bite anyone that he don't like. You know them ankle biters. :o As long as we are around he only barks his little head off. Some of my friends are like can you lock that dog up or something i can't think with him around. I tell them no way this is his house and if i start locking him up then it will only make him hate you more. He only weighs 3 pounds. He is so funny. After a few minutes he will just lay down next to me or my husband. They just can't make any sudden movement towards one of us.

  11. I had it replaced last month the 12 or 13. yes it was seized up. I got the car around 2 years ago and it was flushed and new brake fluid was put in. Also when they changed the caliper they did that.

Here is an earlier post about it.

    Caliper

It is now doing the same thing as it did before it was replaced.

edit: It is not shaking as bad as it did the first time. That is the only think that is different.

  12. Hey guys i am hoping that someone can help me out here. I just had my caliper replaced not that long ago and i think it is bad again. :o Is there something that could be making it go bad? I am going to take it back to the garage as soon as i can, but i wanted to see if someone here can help let me know what is going on. :chairshot:

    Thanks,

    Jill

  13. Good touchup is really an art form. A detail shop by me is soo good at it they charge $150 a chip. BUT you'd never know it was there.

How happy you'll be with the touchup also depends on the color, silver and that oyster pearl are the hardest to touch up, white is the easiest.

You've got to be patient with the pen and just keep putting those layers in there.

I agree with you it is an art form. I think the hardest part of the whole thing was that we bought white paint figuring that it would match up and it stuck out so then we had to find out what color it was for sure. It is Garnet White. Other then that my husband said it was pretty easy.

  14. It squealed real loud. They said cause it was stuck closed and wore the break pad down. Since they changed the caliper and breaks it don't squeak no more.

I don't pay labor. My brother-in-law does it. He has a garage. :D
