  2. Looking for a source of the metal retainer clips used on many of the interior trim pieces. For example, the master control switch, the ashtray assembly and even the console trim around the shifter are held in place with these retainer clips.
  3. Try this: http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/audio/headunit.html
  4. look in the trunk/drivers side/rear window deck
  5. This seems to be the best thread re. getting the factory subwoofer to work with an aftermarket head. I'm going to give it a try. Anybody figure out how to get the CD changer to work with the aftermarket head?
  6. just did the steering damper. Irontoad $120 incl shipping
  7. Gas tank is under pressure - normal. White smoke - likely that power steering fluid is leaking via the air control valve causing white smoke.
  8. Can you post web address for Advance. I found Advance suspension in China but suspect it's not the same one. I'm curious although I recently replaced the bushings in my UCAs with Daizens
  9. Looking for a source for a steering damper 1990 LS 400 Only available from the dealer I suspect
  10. drill down to Body- Exterior Lift Support
  11. AC Delco is also a source. Part # 510965 Rockauto.com is listing for about $25.
  12. Believe its attached to radiator. Look for a screw in type sensor with an electrical connector (clip type)
  13. Bought a 1990 LS 400 in October. 1 owner car with service records -123K miles. I've been doing some preventative maintenance as well as upper control arms, plugs/wires/ACV, PCV, etc. I was going to move onto brake rotors but I noticed that the engine coolant is prestone green. Should I flush out the coolant and refill with Toyota pink or leave it. Can't find a service receipt for radiator flush so I don't know how long its been in there.
