  1. Just noticed on my wife's 2001 ES 300 when starting, the engine does not throttle up like it should.....takes about 45 seconds to "high idle" What could be the problem? The fix? Vehicle has 112K.
  2. Does anyone know the trick to getting to the screw that's directly behind the freon line?
  3. How did you remove it from behind the freon lines? Seems like one screw I can not get to?
  4. The level is fine, but not sure when it was last changed. Only has symptoms in the morning right after startup and only when is is chilly (40/50ish). Temperature might not have anything to do with it, but didn't notice until the temperature changed.
  5. It has gotten cold in Northwest Florida and have noticed something strange when starting my 2000 Rx 300 in the morning after sitting for 24 hours. Right after startup the steering wheel does not turn like it should; if I can describe the issue in words (try to turn to steering wheel and it reacts forcefully against me; almost feels like the belt or something is slipping when backing and turning, it also feels like low engine RPMs just before a stall, but RPMs are fine. Does not do it all the time, only after sitting for a while. Any clue?
  6. Can you requote that, i did not understand it? Am I prying the door lever assembly out?
  7. Removed all still seemed like something was holding it (seemed like it was still secured somewhere near the door open lever). Did not want to force it, help?
  8. I have a 2000 Rx 300, no luck removing the door panel....somewhere I'm missing a screw? Help?
  9. Can you buy after market actuators?
  10. I have a 2000 Rx 300 with the same damn noise...comes from the servo motor. Here's what I did for mine....once I made access could not remove do to the freon lines, but did disconnect the power supply and sprayed the contacts of the servo with electrical cleaner...same stuff you would lose to clean the air flow sensor. Noise has not come back! keep your fingers crossed
