  1. I only felt the engine kick in a couple of times. I think maybe it was running most of the time anyway to keep that AC going!! B)
  2. Wow, that must be what it was. Both of them were 2006 models. Acceleration wasn't a problem, just maintaining highway speed. Maybe I'll call the salesman tomorrow and ask him about it. Thanks, Lemon!
  3. I had never driven a hybrid vehicle before taking two RX400s out for test drives tonight. Two things that were disconcerting to me: 1. a non-linear brake feel, and 2. while cruising on the highway, the vehicles seemed to be frequently hesitating and then lurching, presumably while switching between driving modes. Actually the second vehicle (w/ 25k miles) was much better than the first (w/ 41k miles) on the highway, and maybe would not have even been noticeable if I had driven it first. I assume that to some degree this is normal for hybrids. Do you get used to it? Or does it get worse over time? Thanks.
  4. Thanks!! It just seems too easy, but hopefully it works.
  5. That's it. I'm the original owner. First time @ 150k. ;)
  6. I can not find this procedure in my owner's manual. I did find another thread that mentions it, but it also does not give any detail. Are you pulling my leg? A third thread I came across regarding a different window issue stated: "Go to each individual window, roll down and roll up, when you're rolling the window back up do not let go of the switch, keep pulling the switch up and remain holding it up for about 5 seconds after the window is shut. Do this on all the windows and it should reset the master switch. " I have no idea if this is the same process as referenced above, but I tried it anyway. Maybe I should hold the switch down instead of up? Since the issue is intermittent on my vehicle, I'll have to just wait and see if it happens again.
  7. Just changed the original pads on my RX300 after 150,000 miles. :P I know you don't care! I am lurking, testing the 400h waters, and couldn't resist.
  8. Just curious if you bought the car from them. I wonder if that makes them treat you differently. I bought my RX in Dallas because LOA wanted way too much, but then the Service Managers here were so nonchalant and acted as if they were doing me a favor when I'd bring the car in. The parts guys have always been pretty cool with me, though.
