Have only had my 91 with 142,000 miles a month but have been impressed with the car. No rattles just pure refinment. I can see why once you own one you would never want to go back to any thing else. I guess i have fallen in love.
Does anyone know what error message on cd changer means. Just had the 400 for three weeks and changer does this everytime I press cd on radio. Have tried several different cd's.
Thanks for any info
I hear what sounds like waterpump bearing and have water and oil leaking around the pump. Is this what it usually does since pump connects inside the engine?
Thanks
Thanks for the info. Have never changed a amp before. Should i change the factory or are you talking about adding a extra amp just for the sub? Where is the factory amp located? Will any aftermarket amp work ? Did you use a 8" or a larger sub. Any info you can offer will be greatly apperciated.
Thanks
Michael
Just changed mine on my 400 and did not turn them. I did not have any vibration so i just decided to wait. If it starts to shake before they need changing I'll just get them turned at that time. The calipars are very easy to remove

Just thought I would pass along a new product I found this week at the local Walmart. It's called Invisible Glass by Stoner. Used it inside and out and seems to leave no residue. Looks clear with no haze after a week.
Does anyone know what ohm the factory sub is? Writing is all blurred on back of speaker. Have been to several audio places some say 2ohm and some say 4 ohm. Haven't found anyone who seems to know for sure.
Thanks
Just bought my first Lexus, 91 LS400. It needs new pads all round and have not seen any post about ceramic pads. Has anyone tried them, or are lexus pads better? Do they cause faster rotor wear?
