    Yes the noise is only when the car is in motion and is it common for it to be the heat shield around the exhaust manifold? The humming noise is only noticable when the car reaches higher rpms right before the tranny shifts and after the tranny has shifted out of 4th the noise starts slowly gets louder when reaching higher speeds.

    Hey guys I have been noticing a low humming sound and it is felt on the gas pedal while im driving but I have no idea what it could be. Any advice, help would be great

    we took the spark plug out, black as hell and then we cleaned it and put it back in for like 30 minutes took it back out and the spark plug was black as hell again.

    Heys guys does anyone know or have an idea where I can find out if this Toyota Navigation will fit my 1996 ES300? I've seen it installed on a 1997 Lexus ES300 and would like to know if it fits the 1996 ES300. here are some pics PS added a photoshoped pic of my car with the nav on.

    Coil on plug system yes, thats what we r going to do next a compression test.

    YES, I also left the car on and pulled each coil out and when u pull coil 6 on cylinder six it does not do anything but when u pull the other one the engine starts to shake, we also swapped the spark plugs and still cylinder six keep misfiring. (TOYSRME need some of your input)

    Heys guys my uncles 1994 ES 300 has a Cylinder 6 misfire, we put it to a scanner and it said cylinder 1 = 0 cylinder 2 = 0 cylinder 3 = 0 cylinder 4 = 0 cylinder 5 = 0 cylinder 6 = 217 misfire we pulled and cleaned the spark plug and that didnt work, we also swapped coils and didnt work neither. If anyone has any idea why this is happening please feel free to give some input

    Hey guys think about buying a 2001 ES300 and wanted to know if there is a difference in ride quality and cabin noise between a 1996 ES300 and 2001 ES300. Cause I have a 1996 ES300 and love the car but I love the 2001's look and styling a lot more.

    Dude where do you get such lubricants, I have had that noise on my front right strut mount and want to get rid of the noise too. SK where do you ge that rust proof stuff from and how is it applied, does it make a big difference. My 1996 ES300 has the original suspension and it has 95k on the clock would it make a difference for me?

    Dont use those platinum plugs they r not reliable plugs, use DENSO IRIDIUM (OEM) for ur car they are good for at 100k of use and u can buy them on thepartsbin.com or ebay Spark Plug SK20R11 ND is the part number. Hope that helps

    Hey guys just wanted some input on what I need to replace to make my suspension feel like new again? I want to make this ride as smooth as possible so if theres any improved after market parts that I can get to improve the suspension tell me about it.

    Yeah the front bumper might need repainting and the steering wheel came off a 2001 ES300 and the airbag came off a 1997 ES300 for compatability, and I waxed it my self.

    I can buy all four PBR Rotors for 120 shipped from carpartsbin so I might go with those and some akebono brake pads

    Does anyone know who maufactures rotors for Lexus because Im about do for new rotors and want to either get the OEM or Brembos. But Im not going to go to Lexus and pay the Lexus price for the rotors. I just want to know who makes the rotors for Lexus so I can go somewhere else and save alot of money.
