  2. Yah but a 05 XLR starts at 76k!
  3. I think the 20s dont look to big at all. I am thinking of going with 20s but not as much chrome on mine as those ones. Maybe a good 5 or 6 spoke chrome 20 :)
  4. That is a nice set up but with a body kit and a 2 inch drop i think the frunt bumper would hit on a lot of different things as far as driveways and parking lots and stuff.
  5. Toyota builds their engines to last. I tore down a 1UZFE and found out that this engine has a 6 bolt main....Thats extremely durable :)
  6. Yes the SC's have very large tanks. My 92 has 20.6 gal tank.
  7. obviously if he has 17x7 on 245s they fit :)
  8. I think that the front parking lights are the yellow/orangish lights taht are located to the outside of the low beam. Are these on for you? They are in the actual headlight assembly and are orangish.

  11. I have a 92 SC400. I have a body kit(V-Speed Type 2) and am goin to have it installed and painted next summer. Also I am looking at buying large low profile rims and tires. I was wondering if 20 inch rims would fit without rub? Like a 245/35/20 in the front and 275/35/20 in the back...is this too big? 20x8.5 inch rims in front and 20x9.5 in the back. I would like your guys advice as to if this set-up would fit without any rub. If not please tell me what would be the biggest :D . I am going to be receiving a settlement check this winter for an auto accident and figured rims would be a good way to spend my money B)
  12. I have a 92 SC400 and dont have the master key with the button on the side. When I went to the Lexus dealership they said it would cost $375 to get the key with the remote button on it :(
  13. I have a 92 dark green SC400 that sat in the sun in Texas for a long while not beind drivin so the paint is all faded and oxidized. I bought a body kit for the car and am going to have it installed and the whole car stripped down and painted. I got a quote from a local window tint/auto accessories shop and they said to install the body kit and have their painter do the whole car including door jams and everything it would be about $3200 plus the cost of paint. I would buy the paint myself for around like $500 so thats a total of $3700. However this also includes isntalling the body kit and this painter is excelent at what he does and has had many of his cars featured on the front of magazines. Sorry to say but I can't beat your price :( ...yet anyhow im still looking.
  14. I have a 1992 Lexus SC400. Bought 175k miles $1800 50k mile engine installed $4450 New Brakes $150 Window Tints $260 New Taillights $125 New Struts $285 Total so far $7070 with about 4k left to go Next to come body kit and paint job then rims and exhaust. Also my rack and pinion has started leaking on the left side out of the boot. Does anyone know if the seal can be replaced without having to replace the whole rack and pinion? If so this would save greatly on money.
