Thanks for the info. If anyone else has any plug or tires advice, bring it on!
Now...ANOTHER question. The headlight lenses on my last car had yellowed/clouded really badly. On the LS they're still nice and clear. Anything I shood do to KEEP them that way? Thanks again!
I use Bosch Platinum +4.. everything seems to be okey..
On the tires.. i am running on 19" TSW with 34 offset, tires is Kuhmo Ecsta 235/35/R19.... i did not notice any diffrenece on the ride as my ride is not lowered.. i'll find out soon if ti will make a difference if it gets lowered.. will port opinion..
Hello,
My 90 LS400 shows code 13.. RPM signal.. My car starts and runs okay.. but when i put it in park and step on the gas and when the RPM hits around 3500 the engine starts choking or hesitating..Also i can seems to run the car more than 100 MPH.. whne i reach 105 it will start hesitating.. anyone know how to fix the crank sensor? or RPM signal sensor?
thank you..
Are you saying that ride with a "plus four" set-up is the same cushy ride as with the stock 6.5 x 15 wheels and 205/65 tires?
YES.. i did not feel any difference on the ride.. only changed is it is a little better on corner.. nothing changed on gas mileage too.. well maybe because my ride is not lowered also that why is has the same ride effect even for a "plus four" setup
well it will all depends on how is the condition of the car.. mileage, interior, exterior any damages? i got mine for 4k, 167k miles on it when i first got.. immaculate condition on the outside and oka condition on inside..
I have a 1990 LS400, timing belt broke on me @ 175K, i was the third owner, i do not ride hard.. i did not know if the timing belt was changed when i purchase the car..
I did the timing belt on my 1990 LS400, not knowing anything about how to replace it.. i just printed the instruction from another website and did it. I i replace the timing belt when my LS have 175k, not it has 215K and still running..
i just remove the fan bracket of my LS400, it is a lot of work, you have to remove the fan assembly, cover of the ignition coil, etc. it took me almost 4 hours just to remove them, i wll take pictures and will post it here.
you should always try fill up the gas b4 1/4 or maybe 1/2, this is good in case of emergency, you dont want run out of gas in an emergency, plus i think when you have the tank 1/2 full it goes down faster, this depends on how you drive.
