  1. Get the ICE unit made by DenisonUSA. I was a beta tester for them and the unti works great. Songs are displayed on the radio LCD, fast forward/rewind work from the cd controls as do next track and previous track. No one ever said anything to me about it voiding the warranty either. c'yah, I wish someone would explain it to me too... All I can get it to do is randomize songs within a playlist. Regarless of whether I have it set to Random Song or Random Disk(playlist) it will only randomize songs... and even then the display behavior is inconsistant between random play and sequentail play During seqentail play you see the playlist number and the song number. And then the next song will display counting up from the order they are stored on the iPod... [ 1 - 1 ] [ 1 - 2 ] [ 1 - 3 ]... and so on. During random play you see exactly the same thing on display but the songs are just in a differet (random?) order. On second thougt, maybe this is consistant from a programmers point of view.:chairshot: If you swich out of random play while a song is playing then the display will show you the correct song number based on the order stored on the iPod. When you switch back to random the display resets back to [ 1 - 1 ] This would not be AS annoying if you could still use the text to show you what song is actually playing, but all mine will tell me is the name of the playlist...maybe I'm not holding my mouth right ;)
  2. Just spoke to Longo Lexus. They have the Sirius kit and are giving it away FOR FREE. Getting mine installed Thursday!
  3. How about Sirius? Can you get that installed on a 400h? That was a surprise and dissapointment for me as well. I'm using the Mi-fi with the holder sitting in the front vent. Was there any issue with your installation? I was thinking we wouldn't be able to do that with the Nav System and ML sound. ←
  4. Keep driving it. Hybrids have a long break in period. You will start to see better MPG (and consequently more electric motor use) over time.
  5. No. Once you connect to the Lexus's bluetooth, you can't use voice dialing. If you want to dial, you either have to use the i touch dial on the NAV screen (difficult since it dims out the numbers when you are moving, plus you have to push at least two buttons/screens to get the speed dial screen) or you have to manually dial using the phone, which, besides being dangerous completely invalidates the whole reason to have bluetooth in the first place. If you want to really get the most out of a bluetooth phone, I wouldn't recommend the V710, even though at the moment, it's the only bluetooth phone Verizon offers.
  6. Hello all -- I've had my 400h for about 10 days now. I also have a Prius, which is about 15 months old. I can tell for certain that there is a break-in period and that after about 6 months (about 8K miles) the fuel effeciency began to steadily creep up. When I first got the car, I was getting 35-39 MPG. Now, we routinely get in the mid to high 40's. I'm currently getting about 25 miles a gallon in my 400h. I'm on my second tank, and I've already seen an improvement as I got 22 MPG on the first tank. I expect that my experience with the Prius will be the same with the Lexus as they both use exactly the same technology. So for all of you that are dissatisfied with your MPG so far, I would say hang in there for at least another 2K miles or so. And yes, you will have to adjust your driving habits if you have a "heavy" foot in order to get the best mileage. But that would hold true whether you were driving a hybrid or an 18 wheeler.
