What year did the LX change from DVD to HDD?

Wow that's a long way away - where did the car come from?

Why were you replacing the bulb if it wasn't gone?

What information are you looking for? Just setting up the sound?

You may be able to move it against the motor by just pushing the glass around a bit of already broken anyway. Are you planning on attempting a repair or just looking for a replacement mirror?

There is a common fault with the LS400 regarding the blower motor not changing speeds - not sure if this is linked with your issue but may be worth taking a look at the following thread:

Can't help on your problem I'm afraid, but love the fact that you have the only IS350 in Germany - did you import it yourself?

Have you checked the battery?

Faulty interior sensor? I if remember correctly there is also a way of disabling interior scan before you get out as a temporary solution?

Good news - looks like you may have found the issue then! 

Could be something as simple as air in the system? Check the coolant is topped up to the right level and then allow the system to "burp" and see if that helps...

Ok, so my ES has given me pretty flawless ownership for 195,000 miles. I have told myself that I would drive this thing until 200k and then get another one. The car still rides remarkably well on the factory suspension and brake rotors etc. All fluids have been changed every 50k (except oil every 5k) and spark plugs at 140k air filter every 20k. 2 serpentine belts, 2 wheel bearings, 1 O2 sensor.The trans still shifts like new.

So should I get new struts, brakes,tires, fluids and super professional detail job and keep going another 50,000 miles for $3000 in maintenance OR trade it in and add $3000 to the trade?

What say you Lexus people?

I wouldn't let high mileage worry me on a lexus as long as it's been well cared for with good history. As other have said, they tend to go on and on! :)

The bigger the wheels then the harder the ride. Big wheels look cool but it depends how much you value ride comfort! :D

Bluetooth audio is cool. Shame it drains battery a little faster though. Not sure why it would sounds better though. How is your ipod connected?

It's definitely the reliability of a Lexus that helps :)
