  1. Hey eeryone. I know it had been a LONG time I have been on here. But my 06 IS350 is doing the same thing. I turn the light switch off and back on, things are good to go. I will have to try replacing the bulbs out for a different brand in hopes this fixes the issue.
  2. We found the issue.. It was the starter relay.. Replaced that and we are good to go. Thanks again for the help. We are Lexus noobs.
  3. Yes because the starting issue all happened with the stock battery. All connections are clean and tight. Even a jump the last time would not start the car.
  4. I was able to find the starter and it appears to be the stock OEM that came with the car. My next question is how in the heck do I get to the top bolt and remove the old one in that small of a space?
  5. We replaced the battery with a Red Top and things where good to go. I go to leave a local grocery store and my car will not start... Had a family friend come to help and we tried to jump the car. It will not turn over. When the FOB is in hand and the button is pushed, there is buzzing sound from under the driver side of the car. What could this be?trim.5KIUVN.MOVtrim.7vc3EX.MOVtrim.5KIUVN.MOV
  6. We had to replace the battery with a brand new Red top Optima in my 06 Lexus about a couple of weekes ago because it would not start. Now it is doing the same thing. The start button turns green and when we push the button to start it does nothing. Jumped the car and disconnected the postive end of the batter while the car was running and it did not die. What are the common problems to cause battery drain?
  7. Hey everyone. I am new to the world of Lexus and I have a few questions about doing my own oil changes. What size of oil filer cap wrench do I need? I bought the Napa Gold filter for $9 today. The guy at Napa autoparts store had no clue the correct size of wrench needed. What brand of oil should I buy? I have always ran pure synethic highmillage Q State in my previous cars (Mazda and a Chevy). Thanks for the help!
  8. I run premium (91 octane) in my 06 IS 350 and have no issues with motor ping or anything else.
  9. Thanks for the list! This sure does help with my hubby's 300c and my IS 350.
  10. Nevermind.. I got a jump and made it home. My hubby said he would get a new battery tomorrow. 😎
  11. Now my car will not start... Help for a Lexus noob...
  12. My husband and I are first time Lexus owners and I was researching how to do the oil change and other maintenance ourselves and that brought me to LOC.
  13. Thanks everyone. 😎 The color sure does trn heads. I washed, clayed and waxed it the day after we got it. The next thing is getting darker tint for the back windows and a light tinit for the front.
  14. Here is the pic my husband took after we got the keys.
  15. Thanks for the welcome. The IS 350 is faster and gets up to soeed faster then my previous car. I enjoy zipping around town in a much safer and reliable car. I will post a pic once I find out how to do so using my iphone. 😎
