    Sorry to burst your bubble Shaggz but if your sc has high miles, the ball joints are also probably bad and they are permently attached to the control arm. The lexus dealer was right im sorry to say. You can use supra ca's though which are much cheaper.

    Yes, you have to paint over the amber on the 92-94 i believe. The amber part is not removeable. 95-97 are the ones you can take apart and remove the amber reflecter to make them red/clear. I painted just the amber part and it matches pretty well.

    This might sound crazy but I like the single jic magic style muffler. Would it really affect my performance that much to have a 3 in catback before I get my turbo kit? Thanks very much for the info above!

    Hey guys, I really want to change the look of my stock exhaust and maybe gain a little power as well. Please no replys about "its not worth it" or "your an idiot". I just want some good info on some different catback choices I have. Also a place to purchase them and pics would help. And do supra catbacks fit sc's?

    I have espilar springs and tokico shocks; the ride is decent but a little bumpy. It rides like a sports car which is what I wanted and corners amazingly. I also have an aftermarket radio and you leave the vol/power button in the dash, it just has no function.

    I just bought a 93 sc300 and the guy i bought it from put aftermarket springs and shocks on 6-7 months ago and I have the same problem. I'm willing to bet its the control arm bushings from the sound it makes.

    :D I bought the car!! I absolutly love it! Anyone know where to get a parking brake cable for a 93 sc300?

    Looked at the car the other day and the parking brake was broken(not worn but gone). Is this a sure sign that the owner has done a little drifting or does the parking brake cable break alot on these cars? Other than that, fuel guage broken, brake squeek, and a weird rattle coming from the trunk area. Are any of these serious because I think I'm gonna buy it. Let me know! Thanks, Ryan

    Haha, you know what my name means! I just thought it was an interesting creature and would make a cool name. Traffic was terrible so i didnt see the car but I am today, I'll let you guys know. Ps, the car does have aftermarket wheels :(

    Excellent, thanks for the replys guys. I really only want manual and the 2jz for a single turbo upgrade so sc400 is out of the question. I'm taking a look at it today so hopefully I will be a new sc300 owner!! Later, Ryan Btw, I'll give mad props to anyone who knows what a chubacabra is.

    Hey guys, this is my first post on here but I've been reading alot of the material on this site. I just recently discovered the sc300 comes in manual trans(i thought lexus was all autos except new is) and I've wanted one ever sense but havent seen any. This past week I found a 93 in my area and wanted to know how rare it was. The guys asking a little much: $7850 with 130k miles on it. What do you guys think?
