wondering if anyone has this issue. 2001 rx300 95k miles, timing belt done at 90k .when my car has warmed up i get a vibration in the whole car and u can feel it in your ears like when u crack a window open a little at high speeds.dealer said that it sounds like a broken motor mount. any ideas what could couse this ?

Anyone know of any sway bar or suspension upgrade for a 2001 RX300. Just tring to make it have less roll in turns. I have a 2001 rx300 solversport with 87000 miles. -
just a quick question i have a 2001 rx300, when u shift into drive, does the light in the instrument cluster also come on as well as by the shifter ? in all other gears a green signal is on but not when in Drive.

I do everything myself , if i am not sure about mechanical issues i do some research and have at it . I went to a vo-tech high school and have been a auto body tech for 28 years. A.S.E and i-car certified.

Thanks for the info. The trans fluid looked and smelled clean when i bought the car. I'll keep an eye on it.

Are there any lexus mechanics on here ? I was wondering when a dealer does a service on a transmission do they only change filter and fluid ? Or also the shift selanoid valves and check valve spring in the valve body ? I just hear alot of problems with transmissions on the rx300 and was wondering if i should change it all for a preventative measure. I have 80k on my 2001 RX300.

I can't seem to remember from my 99 rx , but does the front overhead light supose to come on when you open the drivers door ? It works when i push it to light up. My center one comes on when i open the drivers door.

Is Mobil 1 ok to use in the motor . How about drivetrain - synthetics ?

This is my 2nd RX300. My first was a 1999 and now i have a 2001 silversport. I am a Auto Body Mechanic by trade and have been a car nut ever since i could walk.
