Welcome to the LOC. I don't own a RX350 but I have driven one several times and have never found the layout of the gearshift/console to be a problem. Additionally, I can't recall anyone posting an issue with your particular concern. I think it's like many things new, for example, when I went from my 2005 ES350 to my 2010 ES350 I thought I would never adjust to the length of the gearshift shaft, It just seemed too long and skinny and thereby, "Cheap". Now I think it looks contemporary. However, we like what we like and when your paying big bucks you should get it. I have been using 2010 RX 350 all this time and feel that the gear knob has been designed well, keeping in mind other controls around it.

I have a 2010 RX 350 and have been using regular gas all this time. Vehicle has no problems at all. Smooth ride as expected.

I have a Nokia G3 from where contacts cannot be transferred. I was inputting manually one by one. There is a provision for 1000 numbers and after inserting 1 it still reads as 1000 empty. The technician at the dealer connected his iphone and still he could not add a single number. This issue was then submitted by them to 'Lexus Canada' and no progress. They are not able to pinpoint a reason nor any resolution since May. iPhones and Lexus connect easily. Sounds like you need a warranty replacement. I'm surprised you didn't get it when the tech couldn't transfer contacts. Call customer service with test results and ask for a warranty replacement. They have agreed that it is a warranty replacement item, however they do not know what to replace. They have yet to detect the inoperative part so that they can replace it. Looks like they will need to contact Japan for expertise on it. What a mission.....

Just curious, what phone are you using? One other approach is contact Lexus via Facebook. Customer Interaction Centre Lexus-Canada 1 800 265 3987 I have been assigned a case number and have exchanged several calls but of no result.

I have a 2010 RX 350 (Touring edition) and am unable to save telephone numbers on the hard drive. Went to Don Valley Lexus in Markham, Canada but they were not able to repair. During May 2011 I called Lexus customer service and they are still trying to identify the problem so that they can recitify it. Left the vehicle at the dealership 3 times (the last one on 19 Sept 2011) but still they are unable to repair. Has anyone come across this problem? If so what did they do? Is there any way to contact the REAL technical people in Toyota/Lexus (not the customer service clerks) to complain about this issue. 4 Months is a looooooong time to repair a vehicle. If factory trained technicians are not able to repair then who would? Its a shame on Lexus that they are not able to repair their own vehicle.

I bought them for $ 100 including shipping and installed it myself. Just washed the area with soap to remove any dirt. Did not use any solvent nor used any roller. The moulding comes with a sticky tape. Removed the tape and just pressed it evenly from one side to the other. Check my photos. It took only 20 minutes to install.

you should be able to get a 2010 RX with nav, rain sensing wipers etc almost fully loaded except for DVD with approx 10 to 15K miles for $ 40k to $ 42k. You will need to show it to your mechanic for damages if any and take a carproof (carfax does not give all details)report. Many of the cars available are from auction hence be careful what you are buying.

I have a 2010 RX. Have used premium for 2 months and Regular for 2 months. Observed no difference in MPG and no ping at all. Since then have been using Regular and all well.
