  1. I think cops may have it out for Lexus drivers! I got my first speeding ticket for doing 5mph over on the way to Indiana University in myLexus ES 350, so annoying! He made me feel so guilty, that I felt I had been driving like a NASCAR racer.
  2. As far as my knowledge of the 2011 LX570 goes, the actual wiper isn't heated but when the deicer is activated, a heating element in the lower windshield aids in melting any ice that has accumulated on the wiper blades.
  3. I think it's just finding the right dealer. I've had only good experiences at Lexus dealerships, but I'll admit I haven't done to much searching because I haven't felt the need to shop around.
  4. Tried to find something for you but it looks like aftermarket clocks are difficult to find. Have you asked at a Lexus dealer or some other service location? The Lexus dealer option might be a bit expensive, but do a little comparison shopping.

    Dash Squeak

When the AC compressor kicks in, the belt can slip -- but that usually only lasts a few seconds. Is it a squeal or a squeak? How long does it usually last? My bud's Lexus had a similar problem.
  6. I've got a Lexus LS with a 1,000 miles. That doesn't qualify me, but I do enjoy bragging about my car :)
  7. I'll have to agree with cduluk, but if you're looking for something with a little less of a time commitment, keep a couple of tips in mind. First off, make sure it's a brushless automatic wash. Cloth won't damage the clear coat, as I found out recently when I took my CT hybrid in. Also, don't go for the "works" wash. It's not worth the money and can damage the exterior.
  8. You should be able to clean all of that with alcohol and a q-tip. Used to have a Lexus ES300 but I usually don't take care of these things myself. Are you asking how to find and remove the parts? Check this thread: http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=15375
  9. Yeah, I'm all about dropping a big tip for good work, but in this case the markup is too high. Be careful going to a dealership for detail work though; my buddy's an engineer and he says that's usually the lowest rung on the detailing ladder. You'll probably be okay at a Lexus dealer, but you'd be better off with a specialist.
  10. I heard Spielberg used to drive a Lexus SC430. Hopefully he didn't drive it to the car-wreck that was the Indy 4 premiere. Woof.
