  1. I saw you email address is from the UK, do you need the UK/Europe disc?

  2. I had this happen to me. After I cleand my Idle Air Control valve. I cleaned the entire throttle body including that Idle Air Conrol valve again....did the trick. Both of my throttle plates were covered in carbon buildup. which I was told might have made my car have that same TPS code.
  3. My friend bought this http://advancedsecurityconcept.webs.com/apps/webstore/products/show/1544411 Smart Key PKE-003B He installed it on his IS300, works perfect. He wanted this becuase I love it so much on my IS250
  4. Same here did my timing belt at 90k, still brand spanking new. It was a complete waste. I order all my parts from Lexus to do the complete job. I ended up with a weird what sounded like a bad bearing noise. After many trips back to toyota where all was installed the replaced the OEM belt three times claimed it was the way the belt was riding on the cams.....the fourth time the used a gates belt from napa....no more noise worked great.
  5. Lexus parts from parts.com get shipped from Lexus of Tampa Bay in Florida. I ordered parts from them all the time. If you call them asking for a part # I always tell them that I am trying to order it on parts.com. Also, you could try Sewell Lexus they have some pretty good discounts too.
  6. Here is a guide on how to update your nav!!! http://lexus.sewellparts.com/pdf/Navigation_System_Installation_Guide.pdf
  7. I buy my own oil and filter....Mobil 1 0w30 and toyota filter....$40 then I go to toyota and have them install it and make sure on the service records they put I used a OEM filter and Mobil 1 synthetic oil...they charge me $15 including the tax...so $55 to not get my hands dirty and it hits my carfax for increased re-sell value....YEA BABY!!!!
  8. I just came across this. I used to get about 32-33 highway mostly, I changed my oil to mobil 1 0w30, and was getting about 32 around town! Then some jerk rear ended me. That was my 2007 IS250...now I have a 2008, its the perfect sport/gas saving car I have ever had. I truly believe that the oil can give you better gas mileage.
  9. I had a 2007 IS250 that was totaled. I test drove a IS350 and a 250. I love the IS model A LOT!! I test drove a couple of bmws, benz, and a porsche. I can only say that the porsche could be the only other I would drive other than the IS. I also had a 99 RX300 as a weekend/whenever vehicle. It was nice when I needed the extra space....like 4 people in a car. I usually never have anyone sit in the back any way. My old 07 IS250 was giving me about 28mpg mixed driving around town....so I stuck with what I knew, I have my sporty ride, yeah less power, but the gas mileage is still as good!
  10. The transmission on the RWD IS250 has a "overflow" plug on the bottom of the transmission pan. And a refill plug on the drivers side of the transmission housing. So it's not technically sealed. I was told a drain and fill would be only 1.48 quarts of fluid replaced out of the 7.92 quarts of the entire transmission. Thats only about 18.69% of fluid being replaced each time. Not alot compared to some other vehicles.
