Kandy is it hard for the passengers to see the screen clearly? Also was there alot of work involved in the install?

I have seen several cars with the overhead TV's that are usually in the SUV's. I am sure that with the moon roof things may be a little more complicated as well as the view being affected. Has anyone seen or have an overhead TV in there GS? If so by it being most likely a LCD screen is it visible by both rear passengers? I am kind of thinking of getting an overhead TV with an actuator that when I press a switch it will come down or retract. I welcome any and all suggestions.

When I put mine on and showed my pop he didn't like it either. Honestly I even had mixed feeling after I put them on but after some time I grew to like it. I guess like Sypher said "to each their own". If you do decide to get them make sure you do not scratch them when you install them. Cheers :P

With the pics I should of been more specific. I mean pics of the interior and any other differemces associated with your sport design.

Do you have any pics? I have allways liked the various special edition GS's. I have a platinum edition nothing really spectacular compared with the other special editions, but it is different and add to the cars unique identity.

What year special edition is yours? Also what all came with your package?

You can buy PIAA Xtreme White Plus Bulbs to replace headlight high beam from performanceproducts.com. I am not sure if they have the daytime running lights if not you can get those from Lextasy.com.

You mean this. It doesn't seem to look that bad but then again I havent seen it up close. The titanium finished headlights are pretty cool. Best of all is the interior it is pretty sweat.

I saw the info-mercial over a month ago but I recently saw it again. I hadn't intended on wasting my money I wanted to know if anyone did and if so what were the results. I know someone out there tried it but is ashamed to say. Come on fess up. :D I admit I am not satisfied with the GS3 power :( or lack there of but I won't throw just anything into my ride. I thought about the GS430 and if I do not like the next gen GSeries then I will get the now current 430.

I was recently watching an info-mercial and I saw an add for "The Tornado fuel saver". It claims that by adding their product to the air intake that you get better fuel efficiency along with an increase in h.p. It creates some air vortex, which makes what they claim, possible. Is this thing for real? Anyone out there try this on his or her vehicle and if so what was the results?

I just got some C-pillars about a few weeks ago. They are easy to aplly 1. you clean the surface 2. wet the surface and back of the C-pillar 3. allign and attach it 4. Aply pressure and make sure no air bubles are present. 5. Pat dry and give it a couple of days before you wish the area. Just make sure that when you apply pressure that you do not scratch the pillars if so it will leave nasty little scratches. As far as the reliability I can not say I have not had them for long. Hope this info helps. ;)

I have to agree with some of the previous suggestions changing some of the lights ( check out Lextacy.com) replace the yellow side marker lights with clear ones that has the yellow bulb they look clear in the daytime and yellow at night.. Also the two amber bulbs between the front large ones should be changed to whitr( I hate amber ). With all that changed it will look cleaner. Next a light tint will do as well. Last and what should of been first is "get some new rims!" The stock ones look like donuts get 19's or better 20's.

I use to think that Lexus cars were extremely reliable as well, until my starter went out at 50K(It cost a pretty penny for parts and labor) :( . However at 62K I havent had any problems but to get it serviced is pretty expensive but then again there expensive yet affordable luxury cars.

Welcome to the club :P I think that you should get 20's. It is plenty of room and if you drop it it will look even better. I have 20's on mine and it looks natural. Check out the gallery.

Anyone in the greater Los Angeles area know of any Lexus Car Clubs? I see lowriders, import and biker clubs, but what about a Lexus Car Club?

What about Nitto's? I heard mixed reviews about them.

I also have dubs for my ride as well. Today I got pulled over for supposedly speeding he said I was going 75 but when I had checked prior to him pulling me over my speedometer read 70(still 5 mph over the speed limit). I told him that my meter must be off due to my larger rims. But I still don't know 5mph off. Anyone here experienced similar problems? O by the way I didn't get a ticket

I agree from the picks I think you getting 3rd was a injustice. But wasn't it Florida that had a problem some years back counting the votes for the presidency? :D Anyways those rims make a world of difference. A am slowly but surely getting my Lex together and maybe one day I can enter shows like the big boys of the Lexus club. :magic:
