  1. #70 ^1962 Chevrolet Corvette. Arguably my favorite Generation of corvette. It is between this one and the 1969-1982 Body Style. #71 ^Mazda RX-8. Out of place much? #72 ^1949 Mercury Coupe. Good, Ol’ Fashioned Lead Sled. #73 #74 ^Corvette Z51. Not sure of the significance of the Z51 package, but I thought the custom touches in memory of the owners father were noteworthy. God Bless Our Troops. #75 ^International Pickup. #76 ^1967 Mercury Cougar. #77 #78 ^Beautiful example of a 1962 Chevy Corvette. Drool. #79 ^Truimph TR-8 and its owner. EXTREMELY RARE in the states.
  2. #60 ^an old buick. #61 ^Plymouth RoadRunner #62 ^arguably my favorite style of Camaro. 1991 Iroc-Z. #63 ^A Blurry, but beautiful ‘57 Chevy. #64 ^just nice..thats all there is to say. #65 #66 ^again, not sure what it is, but it is NICE. #67 ^Silverado Predecessor. #68 ^Ford F-100 Stepside. #69 ^525 RWHP Ford T-Bucket. I think the license plate describes it correctly.
  3. #50 #51 ^1963 Ford Thunderbird. Nice, and not as “everywhere” as corvette’s are. Much more rare to see a T-Bird. #52 #53 ^El Camino in Canary Yellow. #54 ^Perhaps an old Chrysler Custom? Not sure what it started life as. #55 ^Chevy Nova SS #56 ^1953 Chevy Bel-Aire. One of the first. #57 ^See what I mean about the red’s not turning out after re-sizing. Sucks. I am guessing this is a Model A Coupe from the looks of things. #58 ^not really sure what it is, but it is SWEET lookin’. #59 ^A pair of brilliant, unrestored, numbers matching Packard’s. Owned by the same people since they were new. They were brothers. One of them passed away and left the other his car. Now the one brother has both cars, worth about $100,000 each.
  4. #40 ^1948 Chevy, original, unrestored, numbers matching with only 36,000 miles. #41 (just to give you an idea of its beastliness…) #42 #43 ^I think this Camaro means business. If you see him on the street…mind yours. You don’t want none. #44 #45 ^’57 Chevy Nomad. Based off the Bel-Aire, they never sold well, and are consequently quite rare now, as a result. #46 ^I am going to guess 1940’s Chevy? #47 ^Supercharged El Camino SS…if he can hook up, you will never catch him…IF he can hook up. :P #48 ^original, unrestored (kinda special) 1985 Buick Grand National GNX. 3.8L, Turbocharged. #49 ^Chevelle SuperSport Wow…still got more. Not even half done. This thread might be ridiculous.
  5. #30 ^If I had to guess I am going to say Packard… There was no data plate and the owner was missing in action. LOL. Any Guesses? #31 ^same here, Packard. But I could be (and probably am) wrong :P . #32 #33 #34 ^’56 Chevy “Pro Street”. My god, if you could have seen the slicks on this thing. They were 14” wide easily. I forgot to take a pic of the rear tires…but trust me when I say they were ridiculously huge Hoosier Slicks on the back end of this car. Don’t buy it? There is a Fuel Cell and a 20lb NOS bottle in the trunk. I think it means business. #35 ^Ford F-100 #36 #37 #38 ^’64 Chevy Impala #39 ^61 Chevy Impala. Sit tight, folks. Plenty more where this came from…
  6. #20 ^1951 Chevy Pickup. #21 ^a “Studinac Pontibaker”. I am guessing it is a cross between a Studibaker and a Pontiac? Very…interesting. I don’t know how I should feel about it, but hey, its not my car. LOL. #22 ^A brilliant, unrestored 67 Split-Window Chevrolet Corvette. A VERY rare car. Even more rare if you see a Split-Window Stingray of this vintage. #23 ^1976 Honda Civic Hatch. Neat! #24 ^Ford Falcon #25 ^1958 Chevrolet Impala. #26 ^Custom Ford Model A #27 #28 ^Ford Model A Convertible. #29 ^1971 Chevelle SuperSport Post 3 down, only about 70 more pix to go.
  7. #10 ^Not quite sure what car this is, but if I had to guess I would say Buick Skylark? #11 ^’54 Ford Victoria (possibly an early relative of the later Crown Victoria?) #12 #13 ^Old custom of some sort. Again, not sure on specifics. Not that it really matters anyway, when they get that customized, its to the point where its just called a “Custom”, because there is so little of the original car left. Lets face it. Most car’s in the 30’s just did not look this good. :D #14 ^Suuuuuper Beeeeeee #15 ^one of the original General Lee’s from the show “Dukes of Hazzard” This was car #4. #16 #17 ^Plymouth Dusters. #18 ^Shinging, stunning, nearly perfect example of a 1956 Chevrolet Bel-Aire. This is the car that came to be known as the “57 Chevy”, only one year older. #19 ^again, not sure what this one is, anyone who knows, feel free to chime in! Still more comin. Better sit down, you could be here awhile :D
  8. Hello all, 4th of July Weekend was happenin’ here in Tacoma. There was another car show right here on the Army Base. It was called “Classy Chassis”, and was part of “Freedom Fest”, a celebration on this post (of epic proportions), every year for 4th of July. This year, the show was sponsored by none other than: (Man I gotta get a lift/wheels/tires so I have a reason to enter :D ). There were many different categories. Unfortunately I did not get to enter the “Cleanest/Best Kept Daily Driver” category with the truck like I wanted to. Oh well, there is always next year. Either way, prepare to be amazed. There are some fantastic cars/trucks here for your viewing pleasure. As usual, I will narrate for you, throughout the pictures as best I can. A few of these cars were so rare, even I don’t know what they were. I put #’s above all of the pictures so if you have any guesses as to what the unknown’s are, put them up with the corresponding pic # please. I have spent about 5 hours resizing, sorting, uploading and posting…so enjoy! (I apologize in advance for the picture quality. Some are grainy, that is not my camera’s fault. I have a Kodak EasyShare point & shoot that takes 14.2 MP pictures. I believe the problem lies in my XP Powertoy’s Image Resizer. Not sure how resizing an image to a smaller size can impact image quality but it does. If anyone wants High-Res pix, just PM me and I can send them.) #1 ^1969 Corvette Stingray #2 ^Nice example of a 1st Generation Mustang. #3 ^’41 Willy’s Custom Coupe #4 #5 ^Pontiac Tempest with a 455c.i. V8 #6 ^Porsche 944 #7 ^MG Roadster #8 ^Chevelle SS #9 ^Ford Fairlane More to come…

That means, its original:thumbup: . ^ A friend of mine from RamForumZ.com showed up, so of course we had to park together. Now this...I have no idea what this is...I have never seen one before. 14. ^Old T-Bird. Rare to find one in perfect condition. ^72? Porsche 911. Owner was nowhere to be found so I couldn't find the exact year. ^New Shelby GT500. WOW. ^Nice Camaro Restoration ^Dinan Tuning Stage 1 BMW 1 Series. For Sale too! LOL. Better take a seat, this is gonna take awhile. Got at least 3 more posts of 10 pix each...BRB.
  15. Hey everybody. I thought you all might enjoy this, seeing as we are a site of Automotive Enthusiasts. Today there was a Meet/Show at Griot's Garage on 38th St in Tacoma WA, called Caffeine & Gasoline™. The Weather was AMAZING. Couldn't beat it. 65 and Sunny all morning. A rare event in the PNW. The event is open to all who want to come, and you can bring your stock 94 Civic Hatch, or your Ferrari. All are welcome and that brings quite a diverse coalescence of automobiles from all over the PNW. Without further ado, enjoy the pix! Mine of course will be the first one shown LOL. ^Big Blue after a GRUELING 16-hour all night detailing session. I am smoked. ^a Lada. I spoke briefly with the owner, who is russian. He shipped it over from Moscow. ^NSX, a beautiful example. Has 6,200 miles on it. I did not get to speak with the owner, but man what a car. 2011 Challenger SRT-8. Factory 4 piston Brembo's? I'll take it! ^2011 Fiat 500. Is it the Abarth? ^the original Griot's Garage Porsche. Drool. ^Duh...we all know what that is. Holy Crap. ^a blurry Bel-Aire. ^a Mint 80's 3 series convertible. More comin'...
  16. Hmm, I was deployed, so that explains why I never caught that. LOL.
  17. I know they drove new cars, but thought they would have stuck around. Blake bought a prius? When did this happen? LOL.
  18. I know this forum isnt as big and well known as some others, but that what makes it unique. Has anyone heard from or seen Blake918, Rfeldes, or Jchrome? Jchrome is even fairly local to me (about an hr drive). I was looking forward to meeting him, but I havent heard from him since I left Fort Drum NY (in January). WTF is going on? LOL.
  19. When do you get your new wheels? MAN those are some sweet rides.
  20. I got a call from a High Ranking person today on post. He asked me to keep it quiet, so all I will say is that I have been paid $150 for my troubles, and given this gentlemen's phone number so that if there turns out to be any damage to my truck, I can call him and he will take care of it. I cannot divulge rank, but he is one of the 5 highest ranking people on this post. He is also the father of one of the youngsters. He said "Dont worry about it happening any more, I am going to take every dime out of my son's !Removed!, and then some." As to whether punishment under the law would be severe, I cant honestly say. I would think it would be severe enough at home that it isnt going to matter. This man was truly livid at his son, in every sense of the word. And since civilian police departments have no jurisdiction on post, more than likely this person will be sweeping this under the rug quick, fast and in a hurry. __________________
  21. We caught the perpetrator's last night! We were right about being followed from the gas station. About 130am, same thing happened to my friends suburban. 2-16ish year old males, pulled up to the truck with several 5 gallon fuel cans and tried to begin siphoning. To their credit, they were smart. Driving what was appartently one of their parent's Prius to do the deed. I am guessing because they can glide in on electricity virtually silent and undetected. As soon as they got out of the car, we sent a text to our Military Police friend, who came and blocked the car in its space. When he and his partner arrived, we all (7 soldier's, my entire squad) got out of the truck. The MP's arrested the young men. These two young men, turns out were son's of some pretty high ranking brass. The Prius they were driving was registered to one of their mother's. I would be willing to guess the parents were called to come get their vehicle. It was not impounded, but left across the street in an overflow parking lot for the neighborhood. I went to bed about 330am, when I drove to the store this morning, that car was gone. To prevent future fuel snatchings, I got both this: and this: Set me back a total of $25 for everything.
  22. The truck was parked outside my house, and the spot next to it (apartment style parking) was empty. Unfortunately, I live on the base. My guns have to be locked up in the Unit Armory, Registered on base, and can only be checked out for 12 hours at a time for firing ranges without a lot of paperwork. When I check them back in, I have to bring a reciept from the range, etc. Pain in the !Removed!. A locking gas cap is the next mod for the truck. It will pay for itself the very next time this is attempted. Many look pretty flimsy though. I suppose it just keeps honest people, honest. Unfortunately, since the home is Standard Army Issue, I cannot modify it or alter it in ANY way (specifically with CCTV/surveillance equipment), except for decor items. In other news, on an update...I have a friend of mine with an 05 suburban. We are trying this right now. I am at his house, his truck is parked in his spot at his on post house about a mile from mine. He needed gas and none of us work tomorrow. The whole platoon is camping in the 'burban tonight. He pumped 34 gallons of fuel. Time will tell...
  23. Ok, let me be clear... The revenge tactics cannot involve the destruction of or damage to my $42,000 investment . Please? LOL.
  24. On my way home from work last night, I stopped and filled up the Ram. She was on "E". I pushed it a little farther than normal, but was curious about the fillup price: $112.65 from empty. At $3.79 a gallon. I woke up this morning to go to work, and my truck started as normal. Paid little attention to the gauges. I ran back in the house to grab my wallet, and I come out and the truck has stalled. I turn it over, it starts for a second, then dies. I look at my fuel gauge, and Big Blue is BONE DRY. I get out and look for a fuel leak, realizing almost immediately that if there was 26 gallons of fuel on the ground, I would certianly smell/see it. Someone just stole $112 dollars from me. I am friggin' *BLEEP*ed. Obviously a locking gas cap is coming very soon...any other creative suggestions? Perhaps ones that involve blood, or loss of appendages, and lots of screaming. I can tell you this much... It's stakeout time. Free beer for all who want to join. And I dont buy the cheap stuff.
