Could also put the car in neutral then run out and get in front of it and try stopping it, thats safe. Or run out and put bricks and stuff under the tires while its going in neutral.

Yesterday I put my parking break on, because I was parked kind of on a hill, I thought to myself, "im probably going to forget about it tomorrow". So today in the morning I forgot about it, when I got on the highway the car started shaking!!!! I pulled over, to see what was up, just basically pushed the tires and nothing was wrong. Came back home, jacked the car up and moved the tires.. I dont know much so thats all I could do, drove around more, still shaking!!! So only then I figured out that I had the break on. So for an hour I was getting dirty pushing wheels and stuff. How much damage?

What does an oxygen sensor sense? Isn't there always oxygen, also what is it for? I never heard of a part like that.

That was flooding because of frances!! It got even worse and I couldn't even drive up to my house, had to park a mile away, thats when i was scared of hydrolocking too.

My cluster is weak too, two of my needles are dead, should I open it up and just put white out on the speed needle? Because i can't see it at night, not worth it $250 to me though, for a needle to be bright. Besides maybe I can use it as excuse if get pulled over for speeding!

Could sell it for parts on ebay, those headlights look pretty cool, probably could get $150 for em. I think if you buy a lexus, and sell all the parts one by one,you'll end up with a profit.

I just installed the light bulbs myself!! Wasn't hard at all. For some reason though the left turn light is dimmer then the right, is it just some crazy wire? For anyone who isnt sure how to change the bulb: I took of the black covering thing, that was easy, just unplug those circular things Then I unbolted the and pushed out the light chassis, then the light turn was on the bottom, turned it, then pushed the bulb down and turned it again, bulb came out, put in new one, and boom worked!

Hello I have an 1157NALL lightbulb, but my manual (es300 1995) calls for a 1157NA, what's the worst that could happen and isnt 1157NALL backwards compatible? Also, could I, totaly ignorant about cars but not very dumb all around, replace the bulb myself?

Hello, my street is flooded!! about 2 feet, when ivan hits its going to be bad! I had to park at beginning of street today and walk home. Anyway I heard people talking about their engines being hydrolocked and I remember some snorkel exhausts. So is hydrolocking just putting stuff under the engine so no water can come in? And what general tips are there about driving in deep water, what would happen, water gets into muffler and engine stalls or dies forever? Thanks!!

The volume affects frotn speakers perfectly though. But I do want to clean it should I disconnect the knobs in some way? If yes where should I look for documentation on how to do it?

No no, jiggling the fade control doesn't do it, its jiggling the volume and only sometimes and if the song is very loud!! Sometimes the back speakers crackle sometimes both go on, sometimes go on very quiet, its crazy.

I tried messing with the speakers (hit my head in the trunkt too) Those wires are melted on, how should I disconect them, is there a trick? I could cut them off but that would be dumb, is there a screw or similar?

The knobs on the dash, there are some for bass and treble and MID (not sure what that is) there is also one to fade to right and to left and from front to back, im talking about the knob for back/front, if i move that a lot and push volume on max sometimes back speaker works.

Hello I have a 1995 ES300. Situation: I put on some music and I hear it in the front speakers but not out of the back. Sometimes though I can move the knob for back front all the way to back, then move the volume to max and boom it will start working! I tried thinking about it and can't figure out if my amp is breaking, or my speakers are dying or its a wire? Why would sometimes giving it max volume get it back to life? What should I do to figure out and to fix.
