  1. Ok here we go...

    When i start my car in hot or cold weather, it will idle at about 1600 rpms(warm weather) or 18,1900rpms(cold weather) the thing is it will stay there until the car is at normal operating temp..which can take a good few mins, i know this is not normal, any suggestions on fixing this? is there an idler sensor or something to that nature that would be the problem?

  2. not to be petty and keep an argument going that is completely up to personal preferance, however modifying a car is just that personal preferance. anything you do to "Modify" a vehicle will have both positive and negative results. Yes the EGR system is more in depth than i once thought, however i removed the system, my car is not pinging or knocking, the temp seems to be fine, and the response gain....minimal but apparent. Im taking my chance on this mod just like others do with NA-T, or AFC's, if it works it works, if i notice problems associated with this than, fine i was way off, i made a mistake and ill reinstall the Egr system. So thankyou everyone for the insight of Pro's, Con's and how this thing works, i def learned from this topic things i never knew, so if anyone has done this mod to there NA or NA-T, lemme know what you think,

  3. wow...i just wanted to know if it is damaging to the engine, after checking out a few sites like mkiv and a few others, there is no damage to be done by removing the egr system, if you are going for stock thats great, i just want some added performance and a solution at the expense of not being stock, i think ill manage

  4. ok here it is...my evaporator is still out, so i need to find a book or guide anything on how to get to it and remove it, i dono where the hell it is or my cabin air filter. and the accumulator and expansion valve....then the seals behind my cam gears are bad...leaking oil, so i need to find out how to get the cams off and not throw my timing, plus change my timing tensioner and bearing....any and all help will not go forgotten...she needs to run smooth..please help her in a time of need!!!!

  5. dono if it is the same as the 300 but u have to go through the wheel well...turn the wheels all the way one direction take a few screws off the wheel well, pull it back and u need a ratchet extension to get to the bolts, then u have to pull it out by shimmy'ing it left and right , then kinda tug upwards, they are 10mm bolts if im not mistaken..good luck ill try and find this sight with pics

I have a 97 sc300, i got some nice NZO rims, 18x9 rear, and 17x8 front...i want to lower my car a lil in the rear and more in the front to give it that slant look, but i dont wanna sacrafice my wonderful soft suspension...what can i doo so that i keep the suspension as close to stock as possible...is there a tein kit(preferably) that i can do?? to lower and keep a nice smooth ride? possibly using their edfc unit?

    There is a 6000 and 8000 kit, they are bad !Removed!....it tells you a lil about each onr too...good luck

  8. it looks good to me, i cant tell if it is stock pipe size or bigger... it will sound hot though...try borla's website too they have a bad !Removed! kit for hte 300 and the 400 too i believe. and it is around that price range...jsut have it delived to your house...my friend got a whole system for his supra and it was delivered to a local shop...we had to borrow someones truck to get it home the box is huge!!
