I'm not sure if you have to remove the OEM skirts because I don't own an SC. But when you install the aftermarket ones, use double sided tape to hold it in place and use rivets to secure it to the body.

I haven't slept because I've been strung out...haha...jk. I'm always up because my shop doesn't open until noon. Having a pregnant fiance doesn't allow me to sleep much either.

3-4 gallons is in the "reserve" tank. If you have 14.5 gallons in there, then you're not running out of gas. You're probably just filling up sooner than your did before.
