Ect Power Button Backlight?

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

Just want to ask if any of your ECT Power button has a backlight same as the VSC off button does, when you turn on the headlight?

As my ECT Power button got no light and i suspect it is burnt.

Just want to get some information as reference.

Thanks

The bulbs are available from Lexus. Be sure to specify which switch and function. The heated seat switches have separate bulbs for the orange dot indicator and the green backlight.

However, i tried to take out the ECT power button and couldn't see any way to touch the bulb for the ECT power button. Is the button available for disassemble? The button is like a black little box....with a connector

Remove the ashtray, pry up the wooden shiftgate trim towards the back. Disconnect all connectors and remove the trim. The switches come out from the back. Using a small flat screwdriver between the switch body and the cavity in the back of the trim, the switches will drop out of the back. The bulbs can then be accessed.

I went to the dealership today but for some reason they said they were having computer problems and couldn't look up the parts... Anyone know the part number so I can call up another Lexus dealership and save the hassle.

yeah i'd love to have these part numbers too so i can order them and have them waiting on me when i come in
