I have a 99 GS300 that I bought last January and I have the very same problem with the trunk light. It only comes on when opening the trunk with the key. It does not come on using the keyless or remote trunk opener but after the trunk is open if I stick the key in the trunk lock and turn it then the light will come on. Are the 99's designed this way or is this a changeable personal setting? Would a sticky latch really be the cause of this? Todd
