Theodore Posted May 17, 2004 Share Posted May 17, 2004 Well its not really a problemm, but when ur gas gets low and u pin it does your car jerk like its not pickin up and gas????????/ Mine does i guess it means we have narrow gas tanks, hmmmmmmmmmm. JDOwen2 Posted May 18, 2004 Share Posted May 18, 2004 Since the fuel pump is in the tank it's a good idea not to let the fuel level go below 1/4 full. The fuel in the tank acts as a coolant for the pump. Consistantly running with a low level will shorten the life of the pump. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
