Jason Alex Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 I have a 2007 Lexus RX 350 with 18 inch rims. OEM tire size is 235/55/r18. Was thinking about putting 2022 highlander rims at 235/65/r18. Would this be a problem?
RX400h Posted February 4, 2022 Posted February 4, 2022 That highlander's tire diameter is about 2 inches taller, meaning your speedometer and odometer may not be accurate. In addition, steering response would be slower and sloppier.

RX400h Posted February 5, 2022 Posted February 5, 2022 There may be something else (of which I am unaware) that is adversely affected by a tire diameter difference that is that large. And as a general rule, whenever you increase the aspect ratio of a tire, steering response is not as "sharp".
