realsync2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 I removed the manifold from the engine and as you can see in the pictures there is oil. How do i fix this issue.
dcfish Posted November 22, 2021 Posted November 22, 2021 Valve cover gasket is probably shot. The Plug boots are most likely soaked also...Have a look.

niznik5 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I am having same issue and I know its not the valve cover gaskets. Did you find out what the problem is? Thanks

niznik5 Posted February 25 Posted February 25 I have replaced them. I read somewhere that if your valve covers are leaking, (which they were) oil will seep into those square holes and still be there after you have replaced the valve cover gaskets. The heat will make it expand and bubble up between the exhaust gasket and head. Sounds responsible since the oil that is pooling and bubbling up there is dirty, and my dipstick oil is clean because I changed the oil. What are those square holes for anyway?

That could very well be the case, Maybe remove the manifold and Clean it ?
