Oil Leaking from manifold gasket Lexus gs300 2003

I removed the manifold from the engine and as you can see in the pictures there is oil. How do i fix this issue.

Valve cover gasket is probably shot. The Plug boots are most likely soaked also...Have a look.

Yes, I would say that this is likely, given that ours needed to be replaced, less than 2 years ago.

I am having same issue and I know its not the valve cover gaskets.  Did you find out what the problem is?  Thanks

Have you pulled the valve cover to confirm ? Replace it either way.

I have replaced them.  I read somewhere that if your valve covers are leaking, (which they were) oil will seep into those square holes and still be there after you have replaced the valve cover gaskets.  The heat will make it expand and bubble up between the exhaust gasket and head. Sounds responsible since the oil that is pooling and bubbling up there is dirty, and my dipstick oil is clean because I changed the oil.  What are those square holes for anyway?

That could very well be the case, Maybe remove the manifold and Clean it ?
