Cfh3
Just had 2 into 1 Dual Exhaust done to my '05 RX330
RX400h
It is a dual head V6 so a dual exhaust setup is naturally correct, IMO. 👍
Cfh3
No, it is 1 exhaust pipe into a 2 exhaust pipe setup. Not a true dual exhaust system coming from both exhaust manifolds and going all the way back. Lexus never offered dual exhaust for the RX330's and the cost to do that for me, was cost prohibitive. It would require multiple catalytic converters and mufflers among other things. This system ties into the cars exhaust system after the Catalytic Converters. Since the RX330's never came with dual exhaust, the setup had to be fabricated at a Speciality Muffler shop, using stock Lexus parts and aftermarket parts. It's more for the look of Dual exhausts than HP & Performance gains, although there are minimal gains with the setup.
RX400h
Yes, it would be expensive, plus any gains would come from a combination of higher intake flow to go along with higher exhaust flow. My MX5 Miata has a freer-flowing, custom exhaust to eliminate the restrictive OEM configuration. It also has a cold air intake and a Magnaflow muffler.
