Acceleration Position sensor

Clip connector dry-rotted and the four wires are No longer in a clip. What i need to know is the color order of wires from top to bottom. I'm sure that they're in the wrong spots on the sensor

I would imagine you could trace them by taking some readings

one would be an earth
one would be power supply 
the other two would be resistance up and down dependant on throttle angle
