Proper two sided adhesive for remounting plastic trim to rear windows

I have a 2004 RX33O still in great shape but both of the plastic trim pieces came off the little rear triangular windows.  I have the plastic trim pieces but was wondering if there are recommendations as to what double sided tape/adhesive to use to reconnect them properly???

I recommend 3M VHB tape. It has affixed many things to many types of surfaces and has never failed me. It is foam with adhesive on both sides and comes in various thicknesses and widths. Make sure the surface to which the tape is to adhere is clean. Alcohol usually cleans non-metallic surfaces well.

I know 3m vhb tape is available in various thickness so get the right one.
