Mr_Hutz Posted May 12, 2004 Share Posted May 12, 2004 Hi all, new owner here. I just got a '92 SC 400 green last month. LOVE THE CAR, but it has a couple problems... Has anyone noticed the center console of the sc getting warm (almost hot)? On a long drive, anywhere around the gear shift is pretty warm to the touch, and I'm wondering if this is normal. Also, the CD player has a tendancy to drop out, especially when play burned CD's. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for all your help!! bean_8044 Posted May 13, 2004 Share Posted May 13, 2004 Im pretty sure thats just the auto trans heating up. They all pretty much do it, but the easiest way to destroy the auto trans is to let it overheat.
