TrevC Posted August 22, 2017 Posted August 22, 2017 Hi Jorge....welcome to the Club Does the vibration come on at a certain speed and also disappear after a certain speed (e.g. start at 40mph and disappear at say 60mph)? If so, then this could be a wheel balancing issue. If it is there constantly from the moment you pull away then it sounds like a driveshaft or engine running issue. Cheers, Trevor
w140amg Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Balancing the wheels and new set of Continental tires fixed the problem. The previous owner on my '98 bought cheap tires in the front. So I swapped out for a new set. Shaking stopped. It felt like the driveshaft was shaking. I would check the tire and wheel condition first. Hope this helps.
M.Yasir Posted August 28, 2017 Posted August 28, 2017 Same is the case with me, even with Pirelli P7 tire i have vibrations all over the place, saving money to buy good quality motor and trans mounts, and then will report back
