EXTREMELY LOW SOUND FROM SPEAKERS

Hi, I own a 1998 Lexus GS400 which I bypassed the factory amp and installed a Boss Audio double Din deck. It was working perfectly but now it plays no sound or at least its very low with the volune turned up to the max.

Radio turns on and screen and everything works. Speakers aren't blown because as a temporary fix, I ran my speakers directly to the amp and plugged in a RCA to AUX cable fo play music from my phone, which works fine. 

Any suggestions on what's wrong? Car or deck itself?

Any audio pro's in here to help?

I'll bet dollars to donuts its your amp. Unless you are getting your power from the head unit.
