MarineOne Posted September 18, 2015 Posted September 18, 2015 I need to replace the fuel door actuator motor on my 2005 RX330 (293,000 miles). When I push the dashboard release to open the fuel door, the little plastic pin no longer retracts to automatically open the door. I have been used the manual release to open the door for refueling. Does anyone have any experience with this? How do I get to the actuator motor to replace it? Thanks
RX400h Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 A dealership parts dept person should be able to show you an exploded drawing of the assembly. Some aftermarket and online dealership sites have the same drawings, as well. In the absence of a factory service manual, these can be good alternatives.
MarineOne Posted September 19, 2015 Author Posted September 19, 2015 Discovered how to get to the motor this morning. Most of the back truck hardware must come out.
