Cd Palyer Not Displaying Artist/track

I am using commercial cds cd palyer is not displaying artist and track and I have it on title .....PLEASE Help with any suggestions that may work

CD players read the CD with a single laser. If the CD is playing correctly and the music is accurate, it suggests to me that there is a circuitry or software issue with the player that is beyond the average person to correct, and the unit will require a service tech to fix or replace the entire unit.

Either remove the unit and take to an audio repair shop, or get a replacement unit from a wrecker or the dealership.

Hi Jw1330 and welcome.

Unfortunately, this has and continues to be a problem. The problem exist not with your CD player but the CD itself. If you'll do a search on our data base you should find several postings about the problem.

When the maker of the CD itself puts the contents onto the disc, they simply don't put that information on the disk. Because of this crazy system, even your apple products will not show the information. The explanation I've received says the manufacturer uses that space to burn another song onto the disc thereby charging for another tune.

However, you may run across a new disc that does put the info on. This will not however fix the problem.
