HARDWHITE Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Will the working headlight bulbs fit into the non HID ASSEMBLY? The HID assemblies are awful expensive. thanks for all replies
1990LS400 Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 No. The bases of HID and halogen bulbs are different and the optics usually are also different.
eugene.s Posted August 9, 2015 Posted August 9, 2015 What do you mean by "non HID assembly"? What is your spec lights? Xenon lights certainly won't work unless you install special burners. But I was able to put HID lights to my previously owned 1998 RAV4 --eventhought, the RAV4 was offspec for that. Give more detail on the specs of your car and of the HID lights you are thinking of.
